Hi All,

After months of shortages and watching the forums, finally bought the Humax HDR last week. Following a bit of jiggery pokery with my single LNB sky dish, now have twin feeds and all is well.

Thought for the sake of balance, its worth mentioning how lovley the box is. Yes the file management could be a bit better, but I have upgraded from a slightly flakey Sagem PVR thats about 5 years old. This is a dream, and its great being able to control everything with one remote.

Only one "bug" observed from the list on here. Bought the unit out of standby last night whilst it was recording something, and it wouldn't output over HDMI. THe box displays the channel, but no output. Pulling and reinserting the HMDI cable fixed it, but was a little dissapointed. Feed is into a Viera TX-32LZD85.

All in all, a great setup now, and glad I put the hours in with the ever patient Mrs. that this would be a good way to spend our pennies.

So all is good, looking forward to Doctor who in HD, and Nemo..

Welcome to the HDR, jonnykid, I don't think you will regret it. BTW, Mrs savvy likes it too, didn't take her too long to become proficient with it.

There are a couple of threads dealing with the HDMI issue (I don't get the problem with my Sony TV/Sony Amp). Try searching for HDMI Green Screen, and HDMI Black Screen in this Freesat+ forum.

Also, lots of help here from some great people.

Rgds.
