Does anyone have a remote code for a Cambridge Audio Azur 540D DVD player? The suggested code of 0751 does not work.

Thanks

Have you tried any of the other Cambridge codes? You might get lucky!

True. However my suggestion is to use another Cambridge code, not the one specific for your DVD player. You have nothing to loose

That's tue, I'll give the others a try!

Got an extremely helpful reply from Humax support....

Dear Sir,

If the codes in the manual do not work then unfortunately we wasn’t provided a code from the manufacturer for your product,

Many Thanks,

Humax Customer Support

apart from the one you mentioned in your OP there only appears to be another 3 numbers listed to cover all products by CamAudio 1730, 1455, 1647

Tried them all with no success. The supplied code for the Cambridge Audio Amp works fine, but the DVD remains a problem.

Try some of the Philips or Marantz codes, A lot of the Cambridge Audio & Arcam CD/DVD equipment uses Philips chips. My Arcam CD player works with Philips and Marantz remotes.

More failure, none of the Phillips or Marantz codes work either - but thanks for the tip.

Thanks Barry, but no success I'm afraid. I must only have another 9950 to try - that's assuming one will actually work!!

I have the same remote problem.

Did you find the right code for the Cambridge Audio DVD player yet?

Thanks for your reply.

I know this doesn't really answer your question properly but it's worth a mention.

Have you thought about trying one of the Logitech Harmony remotes?

They are a royal pain to program but once you have got them working they're superb - far batter than the grotty zapper supplied with the Humax. Might just be something to consider if you can't achieve success down the standard route.

Hi Jedm,

The first thing I will apologise for is the "we wasn't", the agent will be tracked down and 're-educated' with extreme force.

Humax receives the remote codes from a third party with a great reputation but without continual input from the other manufacturers as they change their lines it is very difficult to keep up. I am afraid if you cannot find a code that works for you we are limited with what we can do.

Regards,

Bob
