Just wondering if anyone here has made an classic mistakes when doing their online shopping.

I just wrote in another thread how i bought a pack of gammon steaks - thinking the 's' meant two of them. Only to receive them and find it was one organic steak (ie. blummin expensive). So I now need to buy another one just so we can both eat the same thing one dinner time.

I have also purchased wine thinking it was the deal of the century, only to find it was the mini bottles of plonk (about 35cl I think). Gutted I was.

I have also done it with pies more than one. I see a different sort on offer. Look at the piccie and purchase it, only to find its a mini pie for one. I have so many odds and ends in my freezer its unreal !!

I remember in the early days of online shopping with Ocado when I thought I'd ordered 5 carrots - I had in fact ordered 5 bags!!!

Haven't really made mistakes myself but have had mixed experiences with online shopping.
Tesco's - didn't deliver the turkey I had ordered for Xmas on the 24 December, and when I rang them said they had made a mistake by "putting all their turkeys out on the shopfloor" so there were none left.
Saisnbury's - kept susbituting stuff.
Asda - OK, but you tend to get other people's stuff in your order too.
Waitrose - fab, fab, fab !

I have ordered one banana before

It came wrapped in its own bag. I thought I was ordering a bunch.

Sainsburys always sub stuff, and their drivers seem trained to do a runner before you can check anything. I also hate the amount of bags they use, I practically empty everything on the doorstep so I can give them back there and then.
