Toastie Bags
Hi all
So I bought some of those toastie bags the other week, you know the ones where you make the sandwich, put it in the bag and put it in the toaster etc Anyway, it says "GOOD FOR 100 USES", is this just a marketing technique to make you buy more bags?, I recon you could just keep using them for as long as you wanted |

Do they actually work?
I've been wondering this. Because I didn't think you'd be able to fit 2 slices of bread plus filling into a toaster

The bags work but your toaster may not! Toasted sandwiches... yummy!
They dont look like the press them together either, if that makes sense, like a true toastie! |

Don't get me wrong, toastie bags are pimp for drunk munchies...
The question is... they say it's only good for 100 uses, is this a ploy to make you buy more? I think they will last much more than 100 uses |

The bag starts to burn and go brown after a while so eventually when you toast your sandwich the bread burns and the cheese in the middle doesn't melt, so you do only get limited use.

How does the bag stop the filling running out at the bottom then? I presume these things cook the food vertically... so why isn't it all falling to the bottom of the bag?
George Forman rules for toasties... always perfectly cooked and no rock hard devide so you can eat the whole thing now, crusts and all! ![]() Paddy
