I wonder what people's thoughts are on this headline from the Daily Mail:

Medieval Majid fails to pass Sir Alan's fitness test

I can't help but think that Majid's faith may of influenced this headline. I noted that the article didn't seem to substantiate the claims of the headline.

From what I've seen of Majid, his apparent old-fashion view of women was heavily laced with sarcasm.

The Daily Mail will seize any opportunity to engage in a bit of Muslim-bashing.

Majid's comments were very much tongue-in-cheek. He came across as a fun, easy-going bloke who was very popular with his team-mates.

The Daily Heil's views are medieval, not the way Maj handled himself.
