Hi
I have a 40" Samsung Lcd tv, and up until recently terrestial analogue and Digital tv worked fine.
Now, i have very poor reception for analogue and no Digital Picture at all.
Everything else "looks" fine, Ariel is still on the roof, and sky works no problem at all.
Anyone have any ideas whats gone wrong please??

Thanks

As both analogue and digital have failed it's most probably a signal failure of some kind. Could be aerial, cable, connections somewhere - or anything the signal feeds through (such as the Sky box, VCR, DVD recorder etc.)

Try putting the aerial lead directly in the TV - but check you don't have water pouring out of it, water coming down the lead could have killed whatever it first plugs into.

Hi
Thanks for the reply, the Ariel cable is conected directly from the wall to the TV, always has been. Ive taken the socked off from the wall as well, all ok, and dry.
Could it be a problem with the TV? the digital receiver is built into it.

Thanks

In that case connect the RF output of the Sky box to the TV and tune it in on an unused analogue channel, it should be on CH68 if it's not been altered.

If that's snowy as well then the TV is probably faulty, if it's OK then it's most likely the aerial system.

Do you have a portable TV you could bring down and try on that aerial?.
