Anyone else love tinned meatballs?
Now I know they are probably very unhealthy and don't contain much meat, but I just love them. I'm always buying tins of them whenever I do a shop.
I love eating them with pasta and even just in a bowl with a few slices of buttered bread. The tomato and bolognaise flavors are the nicest. I'm not too fond of the onion gravy ones because they look like dog food lol.

Yes I like them and my daughter does too. We don't have them that often though.

I have at least two tins a week. I can't get enough of them. It's easy to just put on some pasta, heat them up and throw them together with a lot of grated cheese put on top. A nice easy supper after a long day

I had a tin recently and thought they were ok.........
Well, I bought another tin to put in the cupboard as a standby so they cam't have been that bad. These were the dirt cheap ones as well, Sainsbury Basic, a few pence a tin............. I had 'em with mashed potato...........but yeah, pasta sounds good....... In the olden days I always used to keep a tin or two of Buitoni Ravioli in for snacks/standy meals. Don't see that around much now............ |

I used to love them but after having them with rice and cheese and then being ill and seeing it all in reverse, i just can't bring myself to eat them any more. Its been long now i don't miss them and probably wouldn't enjoy them if i did have them.

OP and you are complaining about constipation !
![]() No wonder with the amount of ready meals and processed foods. You are seriously lacking fibres in your diet. |

I used to live on stuff like tinned meatballs years ago when I was a penniless student; I still buy them occasionally for the nostalgia value!

There's two tins of "Tesco Value" ones at the back of my press. I must have bought them weeks ago and forgotten they were there. I don't think I'll eat them though. I do prefer the Campbell's ones.

I LOVE them - especially the (dog food) onion gravy ones. They are my guilty pleasure as I am a serious foodie - and normally spend hours concocting "proper meals"
But when no-one is around, and on the relatively anonymous safety of this forum - I can admit I LOVE them I need to set up meatballs anonymous. You can be my first member Edward |

I just finished off a bowl of the tomato sauce meatballs. I added lots of Tabasco sauce for a kick. Yummy

I haven't bought them since then, about 10 years ago. I feel I must buy some. I already buckled to temptation and bought some tinned ravioli and some beans and sausages the other day. I think I'm regressing. |
