Most of my TV viewing is delayed. I rarely watch programmes live, I usually watch via VOD or record and watch later via my V+.
But with The Apprentice, I have to watch it on the same night its broadcasted. Failure to do so results in:
a) A radio presenter revealing who got fired while I drive into work.
OR
b) Digital Spy revealing who got fired (usually on the front page of the site or some other high-profile link).
OR
c) Some other site (like BBC News) revealing who got fired.
I'm not even actively looking for 'who got fired' news, I just run into it somehow.
If there was a survey for least-timeshifted shows, I bet The Apprentice would be at the top of the list. I guess that's a good sign of the show's popularity and just how great it is. I just wish I'd started watching it before the last series.
