What would you like as a reward for winning the task?

Sorry if been posted (did a search and could not find anything).

I agree with the other thread about the awful "reward" of KJ for winning. Seems a bit cheap to me (could have been free considering it was free publicity).

I remember watching the US version once and Donald Trump gave them money to spend in Mikimoto's (expensive pearl jewellery place). What a fab reward, VIP treatment with store open just for you and at least you could keep the reward even if you got voted off later. (Boys got cufflinks or pressie for wife/gf/mum in case you wondered).

Sir Alan seems a bit cheap especially as most of the places would get free publicity or at least future custom from Sir Alan himself - after all the treats are mostly in places he knows.

What would you like?

I seem to remember last year; Lee, Lucinda and Alex got money to spend in Harvey Nicholls which was opened just for them, so I think the treats tend to get better as the series progress. To be honest, I'd be satisfied with any reward other than hearing someone sing.

I think the best reward when there are lots of them is a meal out. I guess the activity awards get them out of the house and give them a bit of a break. But staying in the house listening to music of sralan's choice seems a bit of a poor show really since music is such an individual taste. I;d rather be taken to a show.

A shopping spree in Tiffanys or the equivalent would suit me perfectly.

In general though, I think the 'activity' rewards are a better idea as it probably shouldn't be about accumulating stuff, but the team going out and having fun together. Plus, it makes better telly.

You're not going to please all of the people all of the time though. I've no particular desire to learn to play polo, so that wouldn't have been my reward of choice. I would have far preferred the cocktail making evening. I agree that the Katherine Jenkin's private recital was a particularly lame effort. But there is a recession on, I suppose.

I think any reward has to be a reflection of the lifestyle the winner can expect to have.

Tiffanys, polo etc all fit into this. Cocktails don't seem that special to me. Having a meal cooked by a celebrity chef, private casino with initial money/chips given as a present and then you could keep any winnings would be good (if you in to gambling). A weekend in Paris would be cool.

Didn't the US version, or this one, have some sort of caviar tasting evening?

Front row seats at London fashion week, exclusive use of a boat/plane, any others?

The KJ 'reward' really was a bit cack wasn't it? As was the Myleeeeene Klass one. They tend to get better as the series progresses though don't they?

The 'meal out' prizes look the best to me , food and wine always help people unwind in my opinion.

An evening out would be ideal, somewhere special that you wouldn't be able to go to normally, with a long waiting list.

I think getting momentos you can keep is a good idea as the series progresses. Expensive, but gives the series a more luxurious feel to it.

I would have hated the KJ recital, but they all seemed to really love it, especially Philip.

Yeah, I think I know why Philip was so very appreciative.

Which was worse out of these two prizes:

a private recital from Katherine Jenkins, or

a private recital from Myleene Klass

???

Mylene playing the piano would be alright I suppose, but although she's a good musician, its not the same as having a recital from a world class pianist.

As for KJ, well, I know your post is deriding both, but I would absolutely adore a private sing song from her

And the acoustics in Kenwood House seemed fantastic as well.

I'm not sure why they had to dress up for it though

I really can't give details in a nice place like this, but it would involve Johnny Depp and a big bowl of melted Belgian chocolate

But as for the Klass/Jenkins warbling - no ta. Not so much a reward, more a punishment I'm afraid.

I thought the balloon flight was one of the best rewards, other good rewards woudl involve good food and/or best tickets to a west end show

I think they should relate to the task somehow if possible, for example when they did the catering task, perhaps treat them to a meal at The Ritz. I suppose thats easier said than done though; its hard to apply a reward to things like the cleaning task or the fitness task. But it would be nice if they tried.

The fitness task they could be given two years free gym membership to a gym near them? Bit naff but it's an idea

Am I right in thinking that it used to be that the winning PM was exempt from being brought into the boardroom the following week??????

I can't remember if the UK apprentice ever was, but I know it was like this in the American version with Donald Trump or whatever his name is. One bloke won immunity and then was asked by Trumpy if he was confident enough in himself to give it up. He said he would, and Trumpy fired him! Not for being shit at the task, but for being stupid enough to give up immunity! Harsh as hell.

I'd like a night with 3 high class hookers each with their own carrier bag. One shall be full of Stella, one full of ganja and the last one full of coke!

I know it's not likely to happen but it would motivate my slack arse!
