I thought she was marvellous. A real shining talent.

I have to say that I'd already judged her before she even opened her mouth, shame on me.

When she sang it was a genuine jaw dropping moment. I hope she does really well. Just needs to sort out the image, get the hair done, bit of make up, nice dress and she'll begin to look the part as well.

I was going to give her a chance because appearances can be misleading but she was great. A real talent.

I agree with you

When Ant and Dec were talking to her she came across as awkward and peculiar, I think that's why I writ her off in my head, I didn't think she'd have the confidence to perform well.

Boy, was I wrong! 4000 crowd, judges staring at you and she nailed it, totally unfazed. Remarkable for someone that's led such a sheltered life.

Really looking forward to seeing and hearing her again.

I loved her cheeky grin just before she started singing.. because she knew what was coming .... and I loved the way she walked away as if saying "ok, I've done my bit now ... bye... I'm off back to the village"... before the judges' comments. Not so fast, young lady!!

I dream a dream of winning BGT, to wipe the smirk of all of thee.

It was probably the finest performance in talent show TV history.

She should have applied for X-Factor.

I don't think X Factor would have suited her, this show will.

and from now on her dream will be fulfilled, so it really doesn't matter whether she got it via Xfactor or BGT! Simon will look after her regardless.

Yes, she's a made woman now....but I hope they don't spoil her and make her over into some glamour girl, she's so lovely and natural.

I don't think she'll let them... I can sense an iron will behind the cheeky smile...

I loved her.

I saw Elaine Paige celebrating 40 years in showbusiness concert in Drury Lane in March, Elaine sang this song then. I have to say that Susan sounded every bit as good as Elaine did.

I was surprised when Susan came on and sang I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

I wonder how far she will go? I'm sure if Simon Cowell didn't help her then maybe Andrew Lloyd Webber could get involved? Maybe a potential winner, or in the live show?

I am interested to see how far she can go, good luck to her

Me too!

+ I didn't read anything about Susan beforehand and was bowled over. And if there was manipulative editing it was all about the judges (esp. Amanda) rather than Susan!

I agree, they didn't seem to give her a chance and I was so chuffed when she went through.
