I watched it again and it still makes me smile, she is fantastic. A lovely genuine heartwarming moment.

Good luck to her though, I thought she was fantastic but even before she started singing I said to my OH I think this is going to be a Paul Potts moment!”

God yes. You have obviously auditioned for one of these shows or know someone who has? Or are just familiar with the game. I would say that was highly possible as she would have been vetted by the producers a couple of times prior to being televised and auditioned by the 3 judges.

But whatever - good luck to her. She came across as a run of the mill housewifey type person with an amazing talent as opposed to some showbiz hungry little prat with a stage school background.

I know it's early days but I would love to see her in the final.

I'm hoping she'll be in the final too .... though I'm gonna need to stock up on tissues to see me through that far

That really did make me lol! No I have never auditioned but I have watched this type of show for far too long and also read a very popular book by Ben Elton........

But yeah I hope she makes the final and, like Dangermoose, will be stocking up on the tissues beforehand!

That Ben Elton book was fantastic. I often wonder why Simon never sued him over it.

Is it just me then that thought her dress was quite nice. Old fashioned but quite classy.

And did anyone notice how graceful she is. Her posture is beautiful.

I thought her dress was classy and suited her! She has a lovely personality too and great sense of humour! This woman really has the potential to be world class - and I'm backing her all the way

She must feel so chuffed that everyone is talking about her so much all over the world!

I agree with Mary, she has a grace about her too, which although he was my favourite, Paul Potts doesn't have. He was awkward but still appealing for being so to me whereas Susan doesn't seem awkward in front of a big audience at all. She looks quite at home and loving it.

Did you notice she gave Piers a cheeky smile mid song? Lol, she has a quiet confidence that I didn't notice immediately, I was too busy being bowled over by her voice.

YT hits on one vid now over 1,300,000

Go Susan, I'm really looking forward to seeing her perform again. Anyone know how long the series lasts?

... and does anyone know when we'll see her again? (ie. how many more audition rounds do we have to go through before the next stage??). I didn't watch BGT last year except the last two shows so I'm not sure how it works at the beginning!

She was really fantastic, she is actually alot better than Paul Potts - there are many many better opera singers than Paul. She also seemed to enjoy it more than Paul, she has a star quality that Paul lacks.

She is more raw than some established stars in her niche - but she has talent that could go very far.

It will be a good few weeks before we see her again.

I'm convinced that her life will never be the same again.

Susan is surely going to be snapped up by some record company or another.

You could almost see the £ signs in Simons eyes.

OK she's a rough diamond but a bit of polishing will sort that out.

I hope so with all my heart.

What a classic piece if TV. The Three Stooges getting ready to take the p!ss and then being stunned into silence. Brillant. I really hope she does well.

You have one more agreeance my good man.

You're spot on, she really seemed to enjoy singing. Paul Potts almost seemed like a robot. He just opened his gob and pressed Play. Didn't interact with the audience whatosever.
