From memory the ratings for the 2007 series of HK grew stronger during the run.

Never watched it before but my daughter who loves it persuaded me to watch it, WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH, sorry.
Its just all about an ego maniac so called chef being obnoxious to people.
I worked in a restaurant as a chef and if i treated my staff like that i would have had no staff. Not only that he just dumped everyone in the kitchen with no health & safety and no idea what the hell they were supposed to be cooking.
I hated it. I thought he was an nasty bully to Naomi who in my eyes was just trying to learn.
No I shant watch it again. Nasty man stupid programme.
PS. And the large red spot mark on his forehead was irritating me to hell LOL, oh is that why they call it HELLS KITCHEN LOL.

I thought it was the beginnings of Marco's first satanic horn - he should have a complete pair by the end of the two weeks!
I'm the same as you - first time I've seen this and I can't understand all the hype. I'm willing to give it another chance though.
I just watched last night's show on ITV Catch Up. I thought it was alright but it did drag a bit. I can see it getting better over the series though.
I think Marco is quite funny and I do like his OTT attitude However, I found the small Naomi/Marco conflict rather forced.
At the moment I really like Ade, Danielle and Jody. I can't take to Anthea at all - she's a bit cold I think and I sense Grant is going to become a bit of a brown noser.
I like Claudia. She isn't as witty as Angus, but I think she has a really nice presenting style.

I agree, at one point when she turned to the side you could see about two to three inches of open space at the top where the material was stuck out at her chest but there was nothing to fill it in with.
She could have chosen a better fitting dress or should have borrowed some chicken fillets instead of sticking with the fried eggs
