Panasonic Viera - Default Input?

How do I change the default input on a Panasonic Viera TH-37PX80B? I can't find an option in the menu and the manual isn't too helpful. At the moment when I turn it on it defaults to DVB but I'd like it to go straight to AV1.

It's defiantly in the manual, as I have set mine to default to HDMI 1 on switch on. Can't remember how and I'm not at home so can't check at the moment.

If you switch the device connected to AV1 on before you put the tv on it should come on to that input.

However - once the tv is on switching the device on should automatically switch the tv over to AV1 anyway.

Either of the above will work and the tv wont be that useful on AV1 if the device is not on.

If you connected said device to AV2 many of them when taken out of standby will take the tv out of standby and over to AV2 all at the press of the single ON button of the device (works with dvd players/recorders as soon as an image starts playing) but not Sky+

Does not seem to work on AV1 though

Also works for HDMI connected devices set up correctly too

basically you need to change the settings in the Hotel Menu / Mode

If i recall correctly to get to the Hotel Settings:

Press and hold v/- 0n the TV panel and than press the Tv/Av button on the remote 3 times.

That worked perfectly, it was the AV button that needed to be held.

Thanks for all of your help.
