Grant and Anthea are like the kids at school who always used to think the knew the answer in class, continously raising their arms frantically to give an answer. I can see why they are so unpopular. I try to like Anthea Turner but she can be so annoying the same applies to Grant now.

I don't mind him, I actually like him and love Anthea

He is like a human oil slick. Loathesome and his wife is not much better.

I didn't mind him in this show until he started calling people uneducated for not liking the food. Cringeworthy, as he started to act like head chef just because he made a nice sandwich. I think he is going to be good viewing though.

He is a bit on the annoying side

Boy he's such an arse crawler - even more than his self-satisfied missus!

I get the feeling the Boveys are rather chummy with Marco before the series even started. It all seems a bit cosy, just like with Jim "Good As You" Davidson last year.

Referring to himself in the 3rd person makes me want to puke.. Smug pwick

Ooh he's SO smug. Can't stand him. He annoyed me right from the beginning with the sandwich, and then when he started referring to himself in the third person...gawd.

But he really riled me when he had his little rant about uneducated people ordering tuna - he's a total kiss-up to Marco, completely preempting what he thought the latter was going to say in order to further cement himself in his good books.

I have a unsettling feeling that Marco is going to keep him there until the end (thank god he hasn't a chance in hell of winning).

Nice to see he is popular

He was at one time proprietor of a TV production company, before building up a buy-to-let property empire that crashed last year. They were worth collectively over £100m last year. This year, they're rummaging around for change down the sofa, hence their appearances on this.

It was, I think Grant is going to provide the viewer with plenty of 'you are the biggest prick ever to appear on TV' moments. Even Marco looked taken aback. Mr Bovey lacks self awareness, I fear.

Grant is so far up Marco's bottom, he'd need an operation to get his head taken out of there.

I wondered that as well. Jim Davidson was just awful though. Such a horrible little man. Vile.

He was just about bearable until his outburst over the customer's complaints. He was really trying to get 'in' with Marco. It was embarrassing!

I think I'm going to hate him by the end of the series. Him and Anthea are just so annoying!

I think Anthea is a genuinely nice person.
