Why has he got it in for Naomi

It looks like he has got it in for her. He needs to lay off her and give her a chance.

I think he was a bit unfair over the tuna dressing incident. He could at least have indicated to her to start the tuna without him, rather than just ignoring her. Set her up a bit.

I think she might be a bit thick though - don't reckon she will last long.

She doesn't seem thick to me. Looks like she wants to learn and do well, I hope she does.

He as said to Danielle she would not have got on as well if he had not carried her (Danielle). Niomi pointed out this preferrential treatment.
I like her and hope she does not get put off my his sexist bullying.

I liked how Naomi stood her ground afterwards. She was in the right.

Hardly sexist - he carried Danielle.

I don't see Naomi lasting the distance, but Marco did give Danielle preferential treatment and I admired Naomi for saying so.

I don't think he has it in for Naomi. He can be pretty mean to most of them. It's just he's got a massive soft spot for Danielle and that's who Naomi saw him interacting with most, so that's the contrast she saw.

http://programmes.stv.tv/hells-kitch...els-picked-on/ Got this video iv of her last night. I do feel for her a bit and Marco was certainly very taken by Danielle but I really think she is going to cause friction in there... good!!!

Would he have been as protective of Danielle if she looked like the back of a bus - I don't think so. He clearly fancies her and wants to mould her etc etc. Think he was hard on Naomi and hope he gives her a chance when he works with her. Like the fact that she challenged him too - he seems to be able to make sweeping statements about things and everyone thinks he is a god. He doesn't like being challenged does he!

I've just had one and I agree...it was scrummy!!!

I think Marco was very unfair on Naomi and I was glad she stood up for herself, I think that's why she didn't get to be a waiter, she pointed out that he'd been unfair and he used the fact that she cleaned up as a reason instead because he didn't want to admit she was right. It was almost as if he'd decided Danielle is all looks and no brains so she needed the extra attention and needed to be shown what to do. But decided that Naomi has a brain so didn't need to be shown what to do, so he ignored her and then moaned that she didn't know what to do after...which is unfair.

It really annoyed me the way he kept saying how nervous Danielle was, almost as if she deserved special treatment or that her failings should go unnoticed due to her nerves, I'm sure they were all nervous, but just because she showed it painfully on her face doesn't mean she was anymore nervous than the rest.

Mould her is not the word I'd use.

I think because she seems the most feistiest there and is more likely to respond and therefore make "good telly".

Yeah, and considering how forced the first show was, I think this immediate dislike for her is really contrived too.
