I refuse to make a decision until each of them make me a sandwich...you can tell a lot about yadda yadda
.It's Ramsay for me all the way in terms of enthusiasm for cooking and produce, keeping the original HK real and about true quality (Marco seems to prioritize serving all the covers at the expense of quality - something Ramsay would never do) and the fact that GR is first on my 'Shouldn't But OH Sooooooooo Would' list. ![]()

i used to despise gordon ramsey with his excessive swearing but since watching kitchen nightmares usa i have become a bit obsessed with him, he is so tall ! i am having dreams about him. the only thing that pips me off a bit is his obsession with the word "vibrant".

I've just finished watching the latest Hell's Kitchen. It was the first time I'd seen the mysterious Marco Pierre White on TV. What would he be like? Is he really such an ogre?
Well, no. He's great! His intimidation is funny and the people who work for him realise that it's not really meant. He's just an intense guy and likes to play up to it a bit. He's certainly no screaming Ramsay, and I quite like Gordon Ramsay. Gary Rhodes I don't rate at the moment, but I may change my mind once I've watched Rhodes Across China. He came across ok-ish bit a bit of a prat when he was on that show with Novelli, but I preferred Novelli in that one. I found Marco demanding during service, but just enough to keep the timings right. I've worked as a chef myself and I'd far rather work for MPW than GR. With Ramsay I'd probably walk out fairly swiftly, whereas I get Marco's vibe and would be proud to work hard for him. He really gave the sense to those celebs that they wanted to please him out of respect rather than fear. So for me, Marco is the top. Ramsay second, I do enjoy his F-Word and Kitchen Nightmare shows. But he's like an over-excited dog trying to hump your leg. And then Rhodes comes in last. Nigel Kennedy with a whisk. |

Am now watching Rhodes Across China and I don't like Gary Rhodes at all. I keep thinking how much better Gordon Ramsay would have been doing that.
Marco top Gordo second Garro a very long way down in last place. |

Rhodes is the best TV chef
Ramsay is the best documentary maker. Marco White trained them. |

Ainsley would make it fun for the next series. He wouldn't shout at them though or have a big ego. |

Rhodes seems the nicest
An old friend of mine worked with him at The Castle, Taunton many years ago. She said he was a bastard. I had no reason to doubt her then and even now, years on I don't warm to him |

Oh please. Ainsley has an ego the size of China! He would be very funny, but he would also be a tad sleazy I think. He does think he is God's gift to womankind. Ask any pretty PR who has ever worked with him!

Which do you think is the best out of those 3 head chefs?
I'd plump for Gordie Ramsay. |

IMHO Marco is by far the better cook, but for 'real' cooking Rick Stein takes some beating. Gordon Ramsay's formula for 'clean, fast, simple' cooking is past its use by date now.
The real kitchen master is Raymond Blanc, asked recently if GR was a better cook he just smiled and said 'No of course not' This chap still cooks long and slowly and I've been lucky enough to eat at his place twice, money well spent, much better than the food I had at GR's Connaught restaurant.

I think the public are tiring of seeing Z list celebs bitching and whinging and the American format is vastly better as Hell's Kitchen UK began to run out of steam and Z listers to appear.

Macro brings the most out of the contestants. Gordon just shouts abuse at them until they do it right. Marco for me.
