Navigon Sat Nav ??

Hi all, anyone had/have a Navigon sat nav or can recommend one? I've been looking at all the various makes and most people point me towards either TomTom or Garmin but Navigon appear to have all the extras without the high cost of the other units, should I avoid?

Sure I read somewhere they are the top rated unit in Germany (although I am aware they are a German company )

Garmin has been doing it longer than anyone else and they also make very end systems for aircraft. Garmins are very easy to use, have great routing abilities, are extremely reliable and typically rate highest in reviews. What more can you ask for?

Ive had Navigon software for my PDA for the past 4ish years.
I recently upgraded to Mobile Navigator 7 software for my PDA which I think is brilliant.
One of the new features I like is that the device now tells me by speach all the road names and if im going to a destination by using the postcode it tells me which side of the road my destination is on which comes in handy for my work when trying to find a property which only has a house name.
Another feature that I like is the reality view which show real motorway signposts for your exits and motorway lane assistance which I find very handy as I can get into the correct lane in plenty of time and not miss my exit.
Ive not used any other Sat Navs, but have seen them and can say that Navigon do look a whole lot clearer and brighter than those that ive seen recently on the market.
The Navigon site shows off some of the features what some of their units offer.

Thanks, bought the Navigon 7210 late last week and it's brilliant, so many features, I really can't fault it after driving about this weekend. Only slight negative is that I am struggling to find a case and that the major companies (Tesco's etc) that provide downloadable sat nav POI's don't seem to recognise Navigon.
