From 'Heat' magazine, edition of 13 -19 December 2003, some news of Channel 5's forthcoming 'Back To Reality' series ....

- There will be 15 people locked up in the Channel 5 House. All will be former Reality TV participants.

- The show will run for 3 weeks.

- Nick (BB1) & Jade (BB3) are, according to 'Heat', confirmed to take part as are Rik Waller (Pop Idol), Charlotte (Survivor One), Maureen (Driving School), Jeremy (Airport) and Ricardo (The Salon).

- Helen (BB2) has yet to make up her mind one way or the other.

- Richard Bacon will host 'alongside a mystery female' (Kate Lawler ???)

- Contestants are competing with each other to win a cash prize for charity.

- The show's producers are thinking of allowing the contestants access to press coverage of the show 'for an extra competitive edge.'

- Channel 5 have scheduled the show to be broadcast in February 2004.

Thanks Eejay, that looks fantastic

None of those names comes as a big surprise. All of them have tasted fame following a reality show but have never managed to take that final step to acceptance

They are the in-betweenies - the ones who have been successful enough to carry on and refuse to fade back to obscurity, but not successful enough that they could turn this down

I'm a bit surprised at Charlotte ( Survivor ). She has already banked a million quid so must be really desperate to get on the telly again

Let's hope they've got an indoor pool !!

I've got to say, that when you see the names lined up for this, it looks hilarious.
It's like the tackiest, cheesiest, wannabeist show of the century.
Brilliant.

All this shite we heard about how dreadfully they were treated by reality TV,..and at the first opportunity they grab the opportunity in an instant.
So ironic, funny, bad....he he.

It's becoming even more obvious now, how desperate reality TV contestants are for fame in general.
They must know that this is the worst show they could take part in if they wanted to be seen as to have integrity, or credibility etc.

Which reminds me, Piers Morgan's new show about the obsession about fame is just starting in a minute. Part 3 of 3,..the subject this week being obsessive hero worship by nutty fans.

What an opportunity if that lot did go in one place!.....

"Hello - is that Ready Mix Concrete? Yes, I'd like about 2000 metric tonnes of quick drying cement please...."
"Yes Madam - that should just about cover Jeremy "So I speak Russian with a woman's voice so why shouldn't I be famous" Airport"....
"Better double that order, there's that Maureen Manufactured Mindless Moron in there too..."

Yes, thanks Eejay.

If this happens with these hms it should brighten up February.

Throw in Federico and Anoushka from BB4 for a little extra spice.

i saw that.

yea aint it wierd how some peeps can obsess over some guy they only know about thru being on tv or whatever. Such as those middle age women having some kinda mini orgasms over Will young, they scour for evry little tidbit of him they can find, they even hold meetings just to talk about him (why???!!!)... They need help

If you ever have a spare few minutes, go and read the forums on Will's fan sites.

I never realised there were so many deluded middle aged women around. They remind me of the hardcore Cliff Richard fans.

They seem to think they can change Will into a straight guy with their charms!!

Looking forward to this series in February. As AM says, it's got to be the tackiest show yet. Charlotte and Nasty Nick could be quite a match up.

There seems to be a similar thing with Cameron Stout.

Well, I think that in the true spirit of a 'game' they all voted for Charlotte come the Final in recognition of the great 'game' she had played, whether they liked her or not

I know it's not particulrly relevant here but surely BB could be improved by importing a few ideas about nominating and voting from Survivor and/or BB USA

I wish I had been around here for Survivor One, Eejay. Would have been nice to have been on your side !!

Actually I had a great idea-why do they not make all the girls wash their lulu's in icy cold cold water for the three weeks-and make sure they have their periods during this time when they will be extra sensitive-and let the guys know this and be able to watch them when they are washing so they can laugh at them each day-and let one of the guys be able to stop it happenning but ensure he is such a beast that he wont-but laughs along with the rest.

Should make for great TV!!!!!!!!

Charlotte & Jeremy have changed their minds and no longer wish to appear. They were against the idea of the 'Back To Reality' contestants being allowed to follow the press coverage of the show whilst still on air.

I liked Narinder ......

What about Suzanne as a contestant (from Survival 2) ... she would be good I reckon ... I was surprised that Charlotte even considered joining in ....

I hope Helen (BB2) does not agree to enter this ...
