I have a DVD of a TV programme that I dloaded of the internet, and I want to watch it on a TV DVD player. However it wont play on a DVD player as its in a DIV X format, is there anyway I can change the type of movie format to another which will play on TV/DVD? Thanks

You could convert it to a VCD disk which should play on most DVD players.

This is a bit of a faff, and time consuming too, so if you plan to regularly watch divx files it may be worth thinking about getting a divx-compatible DVD player or media player.

for example - with this you can just copy to your pen-drive, plug in and watch the file without burning any disks - how easy is that!

buy acheap divx compatable dvd player, and that will play any movies you download as most of them are xvid which is the same as divx.
