Why do so many of them earn such good money?

When often they're a bit useless?

Rocky, for example was reported as getting £100K a year from his sandwich business (was framed as if it was his earnings, though of course there may well have been fudging and it might have been turnover...)

Also, previous candidates have reported high salaries (Katie Hopkins on 90K etc) - but then they go on to often make very dimwitted decisions.

What's that all about and why aren't most of us earning as much as them?

I know what you mean. I imagine im not the only who has thought, when watching, that i could do better than most of these. I imagine id be useless at the interview stages and probably at presenting to large groups of people but im sure id have a better chance of making the final four than Nooral nd a few of the others!

But do they - or are they exaggerating?

Shame on me for my cynicism.

No HR dept is going to tell you how much someone earns, so you can only guess from comparable job ads. Most of them are quite obviously prone to bending the truth - and mysteriously never seem to find some great job afterwards - so why not about theior earnings. Ben was sacked by his Brewin Dolphin when he was strutting about and going on about getting on the prog.
