Do you like Contortion acts?

Does anyone actually enjoy contortion acts?
They make me cringe especially when the artsistes bend their own private parts practically in their own faces.
Eeeeoooow....

They are horrible IMO. I can't bear to watch, and I'm sure the contortionists will suffer physical damage later as a result.

As long as they have their clothes on, then I'll watch. Unlike some acts!

Nope, they're grotesque and I just FF through them. I guess it's a type of talent, but they're hardly going to end up in front of the Queen. One week to let them have their moment in the sun, then give 'em the boot.

I don't normally like them, but saw one at the Afrika Afrika show last year that was incredible. He actually got his whole body through a tennis raquet (strings removed).

edit - this is the guy, I think - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrJj2pnLOIw

At first glance I thought you were asking if I liked coronation street.

Sometimes I think what they do is amazing - Iona (BGT S2) was amazing to watch (and fit ). She was very good but there have also been stupid/naff contortionists.
What happened to Iona? She could get into a state circus, no problem.

No! I can't watch them, except through my fingers lol! Especially the ones with funny shoulders. But worst of all are the ones on You've been Framed with eyes that pop out or rotate in different directions and tongues that they can touch their noses with uuuggghhh!!

They're alright in circuses or holiday resort shows.

I don't really see much of a niche for them on TV except for the odd variety slot. I may be proved wrong one day but I don't really see there ever being a worldwide superstar contortionist act...

Yes! adore watching such things. Grotesque to some and I understand the cringe factor, but I adore all these 'freakshow' like acts. Perfect.

I feel ashamed to admit it seeing as everyone else seems so adverse to them but I really find the whole contortion thing quite sexy. I find tight lycra very erotic on a woman with a good figure. It leaves little to the imagination, but combine that with flexibility and my mind goes into overdrive. I just can't help thinking what positions i'd have her in if I had her to myself.

I know that's very pervy but it's just a fettish I guess. Sorry!
