Showing as £170 on here, I know it's a seller, am I covered if I buy this. I've got a feeling I'll be sent a broken one or the wrong sort. Surely this is less than the trade price?

Best to study the Amazon UK FAQ about buying from MarketPlace sellers before making your own personal decision based on your risk assessment:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/cust...f=hp_ln_mp_mbf

There was of course a lorry/container load of HDRs in the early days that reportedly vanished with the police in pursuit and caused severe legitimate supply constraints in the first few weeks.

Hopefully nothing to do with the ones on Amazon, but at £100 lower than regular market price might make one ask some serious questions (with 4+ on sale) before buying : when things look too good to be true, sometimes there is a reason.

this site was selling the HDR for £255 the other week, but I see the price has gone back up to £270.

That would be selling at a loss on trade price - looks dodgy to me!

That's what I thought, new seller too, sounds like a con. My parents want one though, £270 seems to be the cheapest I can find.

Ouch, if they are brand new they are stolen, or obtained through questionable methods! Buyer beware!!!
