Am I the only person that thought that ben (The Plonker) was selling soup? His stupid, made-up accent confused people, thinking that he was selling soup!

See post 82 in the 'I strongly dislike Ben' thread (I don't know how to do a link)

I thought it was more revealing when he said he didn't buy soap!

Let's not have a thread with his name on it.... like he says himself, he's a total merchant banker.

According to the apprentice site his 'hometown' is Belfast.

There are quite a few people who speak like Ben in certain parts of Belfast. It's because they are trying to sound posh. Which is why he keeps going on about being educated and scholarships and things. He has what we call a "Cherry Valley" accent.

See here for an explaination http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherryvalley

Don't worry, most of us don't understandwhat he's saying half the time either.
