Sorry I would love to see it again too but I caught the end of it late one night on BBC3 or 4 and I have never seen it again. Maybe iplayer?
It was basically like a fake apprentice show but where Brooker was addressed as King Alan by the candidates. It showed how there were loads of breaks in the boardroom filming and then the editing put it all together to show King Alan as more perceptive with really quick fire responses and so on. Very clever, it makes you watch the apprentice in a different light altogether.

I'm sure a former contestant (Claire Young possibly) said that sometimes the three in the boardroom could be in there for three or four hours. Of course, on the show itself, this is reduced to about five minutes.

The Apprentice is one of the BBC's flagship shows and not surprisingly has become more and more entertainment and less of a serious programme on business.

So expect failure - that gets the more coverage; expect the boring candidates to go even if they are good businessmen.

The Apprentice is probably in its "jumping the shark" season. Love to see a repeat of series one to compare.
They were showing series 1 on Dave last week, I caught a few episodes of it but I thought the task where they had to get the celebrities to give things up for auction was really bad

It's all about ratings now. Paula's team produced by far the best product and marketed & sold it well. She was let down by the two peoplw whom she delegated costings to. Both failed to do the job they were tasked with and just come up with lame exuses as to why they did not do the job.

It was a no brainer that both of them charged with doing the costings should have gone
But Paula 'helped' with the costing which she said wasn't her strong point, she could have asked Ben to concentrate on the costing. Ben wasn't around because he left the fragrances to the girls. After they had decided on the fragrance, Paula should have asked Ben to help with the costing and not tried to do it herself with Yasmina

The Apprentice is still my favourite programme of the week but I am beginning to slightly go off it, particularly after this week. As soon as the costing issue arose I knew there was no way Paula's team could win even though their product and sales technique was far superior.

I'd like to see some sort of a wild card thing added whereby the winning team can be brought into the boardroom instead of the losers - maybe just once in the series. Or perhaps the losing team leader brings one person in and Nick and Margaret can nominate the other and that person can come from either team.

Noorul needed to go this week.

I know the sales aspect is important but I seem to remember there wasn't THIS much emphasis in the early series (I may be wrong here!). Also it was clear that Ben would not go this week as he provides too many good soundbites even though, from a business perspective, he is a liability.
