I would hire Kate, she always seems to work hard under each of the team leaders and last night she managed the task really well.

At the moment its between Kate and James for me. Kate seems very capable, worked hard in all tasks with only minor slip ups.
James, gives the innitial impression of being a bit of an idiot, but we're beginning to see why he's so popular in the house with most other candidates, in a calm team he works really well, and does have ideas, and understands being a team player - plus I love the little phrases he keeps coming up with, I may slightly adore him, in a totally platonic way! |

Debra only.
I don't see why everyone's raving about Kate so much. Been pretty useless in my opinion so far. Yes she managed the team well, but no input whatsoever in the rest really. |

It would depend what role I was hiring for.
Debra and Yasmina I think would make good team leaders in results driven, fast and dynamic environments. But I would still feel a need to keep an eye on them and make sure they stayed on track. Kate, James and Lorraine I would hire if I needed good, solid managers that I could be confident to leave more to their own devices and check in on time to time. Phillip, Noorul, Mona, and Ben I wouldn't touch with a bargepole. Howard I simply dunno - we havent seen that much of him really, since the first task. All he seems to do is pull up other people on 'inappropriate behaviour' during tasks

I would definitely hire Kate (but I won’t say what her job would entail).

I'd take James, Phillip and Kate, and I'd've hired Maj and possibly Kim

Depending on the job Kate, Howard, James, Yasmina and Debra would've all stood a chance with me. Paula would've done too.
I don't understand why anyone would hire Mona. She was a useless PM, has a useless manner with clients and is useless at giving a pitch. She's...erm.....useless!! |

mona's manner with clients has been atrocious right from the start (telling car dealer guy to 'go and check his figures' because he was outraged at the prices they were charging - I'd have chucked her out of my store!!
I think she's useless - so is Noorul philip's just a yobbo |

Simple question: if you had to choose one of them right this minute, who would it be?
Incidentially, I do run my own small business, and all my employees are highly experienced and motivated at what we do, but first and foremost EVERYONE works as a team |

Based on last nights show Kate.....Why.....Well this weeks task has been done before and every other team seems to neglect some aspect of the brief....Kate has obviously watched the show and she made sure every box was ticked.Does this show initiative...no....but it shows she`s taken on board the mistakes of others and learnt from them.Sounds simple....and it should be but for some reason every other team in previous series of the apprentice manages to cock up this seemingly simple task because they don`t appear to read the brief...and then implement it.Kate did this and you only had to look at the delight on Margaret's face when Kate's team were declared the winners.Apart from the amerture video/ad the performance of Kate`s team was outstanding......and the quality of the video was irrelevant because we all knew what the ad agency wanted...The ad had to promote the product...which it did....In the real world the client would hire a professional ad company to produce a slick professional advert.

From the remaining crop, probably just Kate, maybe James at a push.
Overall though, I'd have hired Kim (she's lovely ), then Maj (top bloke) and possibly Rocky.

The task which Kate managed was fairly straightforward, all the other candidates in her team cooperated well and proposed some fairly sound ideas. During the past few tasks she has been somewhat of a nonentity and I would wager that she (kate) would have struggled to maintain control over the Lorraine vs Phillip saga..... Not particularly impressed by her.... |
