I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure no manufacturer gets their honey from flippin' beehives themselves! They'd just probably buy a tub from the supermarket!

Also, the soap was pretty stupid. the only cleaning product in existence that gets you dirtier! Brilliant!

I couldn't understand why they didn't actually encase the honeycomb in the soap - you could then see the honeycomb in the middle but it'd still be a functioning bar of soap - odd

They should have smoked them to make them sleepy and then gently brushed any on the comb back into the hive.

It's highly possible that the beekeeper got the honey for them though, and what they did was just for the cameras.

I agree Lush won't buy it at the supermarket, they no doubt have buyers who deal with a variety of suppliers and will make decisions on costs, quality etc. One person may at some point visit potential suppliers and go and look at the honey at source as part of the visit - though it's unlikely they'll look at it and say 'yes I'll take 6 hundred combs' there and then!

However, what was being depicted here was that three people out of a team of 6 went personally to look at the honey in order to buy it for their products, which was clearly unncecessary and staged.
