Ben - Arrogant, rude, cocky. Full of bravado, and yet to produce a single result to prove his supposed brilliance
Debra - Seems really over-dramatic all the time. She did okay as PM, but she talks too much Howard - Reminds me of Lohit, and I think he could be a dark horse. Very calm and collected, and seems to get on with stuff fuss-free. James - Completley dippy, but probably not as stupid as he'd have you believe. He seems to let his mouth get him into trouble though, and it'll probably be his downfall. Kate - It's weird. We seem to see quite a lot of Kate from week to week, yet I still don't feel like I know enough about her. Was good pitching in the exercise task, but completely ballsed up the food task pitch. Kimberly - She seems to want to make friends more than she wants to make decisions. Lorraine - Seems to be quite obstructive. She only ever seems to produce opposition to other peoples ideas, without coming up of any of her own. Mona - Was a pretty poor PM, and she's now just coasting along in the background without doing much it seems. Noorul - I feel a little bit sorry for him. I get the impression he's a nice enough bloke, but is just intimidated by all the egos. He's in the wrong place really, and was a dreadful PM Phillip - Reminds me of Lee. Needs to shut up a bit, because he's becoming too agressive but seems able enough, and quite personable. Yasmina - Wasn't that amazing on the catering task, despite working in that line anyway, and should have figured out the cost problem last week. I don't get the love for her, I find her quite underwhelming. |

I'm still struggling to tell them apart. Don't know why but they just seem a homogenous clump this year, none of them stand out from the crowd.

Lorraine - Seems to be quite obstructive. She only ever seems to produce opposition to other peoples ideas, without coming up of any of her own. QUOTE] wow, how did you watch the show before it aired? No but seriously although she rightly pointed out it was a crap idea, she just seemed very passive aggressive the whole time. Like saying the idea is 'silly' which it was but then telling the others not to make 'nasty' comments about her ideas and telling mona something along the lines of how some people dont get on with me with phil standing in obvious earshot, he then freaks out on her and she looks very victimised. I think shes very clever in that she can wind people up whilst looking the sweet victim. I dont necessarily think shes terrible, i just dont think she's particularly helpful in group tasks. |

My opinon of Kate completely changed after tonights, she managed to keep Debra and Ben happy, and not one soppy moan from James too.
Impressive stuff. |

Ben - Gobsh*te, thoroughly dislikeable.
Debra - along for the ride - no dynamism. Howard - anonymous. James - arrogant and cocky, but has done some good stuff. Variable. Some weeks good, some bad. Could be there towards the end. Kate - Worse diction than SAS himself and dreadful command of the English language. Massively qualified apparently, but despite the education doesn't know a blini from a Bellini..oh dear! Managed tonight's task damned well though, so could be a contender. Kimberly - manage? couldn't manage to sit the right way round on the lavatory. Nice though - very, very nice - and utterly naive. Lorraine - Anyone remember Rosa Klebb? Mona - If you want a 6 figure salary you should be able to present clearly and concisely. 0/10 for presentation and sales skills. Nooral - who? Philip - Bully boy - nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Yasmina - I'm generally impressed - best of the lot so far I think. |

BEN - arrogant and rude but anyone who brings him into the boardroom is making a big mistake, he's have them for breakfast like a bowl of treasure flakes!
DEBRA - a bit sneaky, tried to make her team sound racist and she, tends to rub people up the wrong way which will work against her in the later rounds. HOWARD - a bit quiet but competent and gets on with the job. Didn't do that well when he was PM, he's not able to deal with loose cannons like Phillip. JAMES - weeeirrd. Tends to say whatever is in his head which is a bad thing considering what is in his head some fo the time! KATE - FIT! And she's a good project manager. Made a cringing pitch in the catering task but has done well ever since. One of the contenders to win. LORRAINE - The female Alan Carr. I know I'm being superficial but I can take anyone that looks like that seriously. I can't wait until she gets fired Mona - Not impressed. Poor management, rubbish pitches and a little too soft. She won't win. Noorul - ... PHILLIP - A real go-getter. Contributes a lot to tasks, honest, not sneaky or bitchy at all, says things as it is and likes to get things done and push people. Very similar to last year's Lee, he is my prediction to win the show. YASMINA - FIT! I want to see her in the final. Good project manager and good body. |

Revised after episode 5:
Noorul - Yasmina - Able but poor attention to detail Debra - Too rude, pushy and backstabbing even for siralun Ben - Complete loser who will probably stay quite a while because of his entertainment value. But can be useful if he behaves Philip - Very much want to see him as team leader. Seems to talk a lot of sense and it's not clear whether he is a moaner or if that's just the editing. Has now shown his true colours as a spiteful, whining moaner - may have good patches but a danger to any organisation Kate - Only standout thing's she's done are mess up the selling job in the catering task and do an amazing jaw drop this week. Her light really came out from under the bushel tonight - excellent PM skills Howard - Very hard to judge Either a very serious contender who's above squabbling and just gets on with the job or a low flier - still hard to tell for sure Kimberley - Nothing outstanding But certainly did an excellent job of directing the ad - even if the idea was pants Lorraine - Nothing outstanding Has the gust to stand up to bullies but doesn't know whento accept a bad idea and just get on with it Mona - Bright, lively and throws herself into tasks with great energy. A bit emotional. Oddly, is being played down very much in the edits. James - Has a slightly odd manner but I suspect he's pretty shrewd and competant without being a cut-throat b*****d.
|

Ben - Was much better this week, but only to save his own skin. He's still the total arse we all seen him to be last week.
Debra - I like her. Wasn't such a great team leader, but she seems to work well within a team - see how she does next time. She was the only person who appeared to spot the Sandalwood error. I think she'll make it to the interviews. Howard - doesn't really seem to be very creative, but seems honest and up front. James - is a good team leader according to Margaret, doesn't rub the teams up the wrong way and is actually able to defend his mistakes and explain his reasoning (albeit with too many words) without shoving the blame onto guiltless colleagues. Kate - shined in the advertising task. Very calm, collected, organised and seemed to motivate the team well. Kimberley - shame she went because she was a lovely lass, but couldn't realistically have gone on any further. Lorraine - An utter swine. Can't wait to see the back of her. Mona - Usless. All she seems capable of is criticism. She's useless at expressing an idea with clarity and I'll bet my life she's a goner the first time she gets to the boardroom. Noorul - appears to be utterly useless. Phillip - Spoilt little brat child who can't work as part of a team. Yasmina - I like her and think she stands a strong chance in the later stages. |

Revised opinions (week 5):
Ben - Impressed me a lot more than he has done the past 2 weeks, but still a tosser I'm afraid. Debra - What came over Debra? She was practically mute in this task! But at least it shows she doesn't argue just for the sake of it ![]() Howard - Definitely a contender, did his best to quell the tension between Philip and Lorraine and got on with everything asked of him without complaint. His comment on Kim in YF ("too democratic") was fair, as well. James - He did brilliantly, probably because it was a fun task and he's the sort of guy who just wants to have a good time. Kate - Decisive without being autocratic, listened to her team mates, handled the q&a very well and produced a great product - is she too good to be true? She seems to just get better and better with every episode! Lorraine - Her moaning about the team picking Pants Man over Apple Sue et al did her no favours, and she doesn't seem to be much of a team player. Mona - She just plain sucks at everything she's done. I know Noorul's useless but she's just as bad. Noorul - I must admit I did feel sorry when he stated his intention to help Kim with directing and then was sent straight to the garage out of sight, although perhaps it was for the best. Philip - All gong and no dinner, it seems, he steamrolled a horrid concept onto Kim's shoulders and looked indignant all the way through the BR because she had the audacity to question his judgement! Yasmina - Like Noorul, I felt a bit sorry for her when her singing got cut out, she looked gutted! She was full of good ideas though, and is still in the mix, absolutely. |

Noorul -What is there to say just a wet lettuce altough seems like a good guy!
Yasmina - I dont like her i feel she stiched Paula up and has poor attention to detail Debra - Too rude, pushy and backstabbing even for siralun Ben - Complete tosser who may turn out able but at the moment is too busy playing the patamin villian Philip - Very much want to see him as team leader. Seems to talk a lot of sense and he think he is the best candaiate out of the men and did stand up for Lorriane a few weeks ago.He is my choice. Kate - Only standout thing's she's done are mess up the selling job in the catering task and do an amazing jaw drop this week. Her light really came out from under the bushel tonight - excellent PM skills Howard - Diffcult too tell if he is like nooral poor or being sensible and just laying low for a while.Would like too see more of him. Kimberley - Nothing outstanding not me favouite and i aggred with Sir Alan all talk but not really anything else. Lorraine - Nothing outstanding not a fan at all.I think she ruined the task for team ignite last night. If she doesnt like phil fine but dont waste all of the time picking fights.A whinger, vile human being.I hope she goes next. Mona - Bright, lively and throws herself into tasks with great energy. A bit emotional. James - Has a slightly odd manner i really didnt like him to began with i just thought he was a cocky thing but knew i am not so sure.I think is quite compatant and could stay a while
|

Ben - We didn't see much of him this week, but that doesn't undo what we've seen. He's not incapable, but he's still obnoxious.
Debra - I don't think she's too bad. Yes, she's a bit of an ice queen at times, but she seems fairly capable and was only really unpleasant the first week, under some provocation. Howard - he's quite smart, but I'm thinking not really a leader. James - although we haven't seen that side to him in the last couple of weeks, he really does seem to be a bit over-sensitive. Kate - Terrific PM, works well in a team, does a good presentation when she's been briefed properly - top notch! Kimberly - I liked her, but she was a bit weak. She let Philip away with too much. Lorraine - relentless whiner, poor saleswoman, can't do presentations. Can spot a pants idea though! Mona - really pretty useless Nooral - ditto Philip - an air of confidence and a forceful manner which look impressive, but he's not really that good. Yasmina - I'm still not sure. She's been very bad and very good on different occasions. I think Sir Alan may want more consistency than she's shown. |

I would like to see the firing order go like this from now on-
Noorul- totally out of his depth. Phillip- just to wipe the smug look off his face. Lorraine- she looks like an over-worked secretary whose had a long hard day and is about to snap. She's just soooo drab and looks bored to death. Ben- he is just sooooooo irratating and pompous. Howard- I can't make up my mind about him. Debra- she's a proper ice-queen. Mona- I don't like hearing that she moans all the time. James- I like him, but I do find him a bit in-your-face and irratating. Runner-up: Kate- I thinks she's cool, calm and collected. I love her speaking voice. Winner: Yasmina - I really like her, she seems very direct and straight-forward with a 'don't mess with me' tone to her voice. If she was devious she would have come back from the boardroom after Paula was fired all high and mighty stroking a cat on her lap going MWAHAHAHA! But instead she layed it down for the other candidates and seemed quite regretful about it. Plus, after the cereal task, it's good to see that she's not afraid of looking a bit silly.

UPDATED - WEEK 5
Ben - What can I say? A complete knob who loves himself too much despite not knowing what he's doing. He'll only stay for the viewers. Has the odd competent week but needs to shut up Debra - I can't stand Debra, blames everyone but herself and can't delegate. I hope she doesn't win Howard - Need to see more but I think he has a chance. Needs to talk more, but still my dark horse of the series James - His own stupidity might get him into trouble, but he seems a solid candidate when he's not peeing himself or putting his foot in his mouth Kate - Everyone seems to have an opinion on Kate one way or another, but I don't think I've seen enough. She was severely underbriefed when she was pitching the food for the catering task, but that was Yasmina's fault rather than hers. Need her to be TL sometime soon. She's been TL now and did a thoroughly good job, so I think she might go far Lorraine - What an idiot! She's a disgrace to Alan Carr. I hate Lorraine with a passion Mona - I can't decide, she seems a bit dense (not knowing what a duster is, telling a client that he doesn't know what he's talking about) but she might be quite astute. I was wrong, she's just dense Noorul - Noorul is the worst candidate left in. Even as TL he did nothing, and if Maj got fired for standing on the sidelines Noorul needs to go soon. I just hope he doesn't stay out of the boardroom by staying quiet. Must be going as soon as someone takes him to the boardroom Phillip - My favourite candidate left in the show (and not just because I'm a geordie). He can be aggressive or friendly depending on what is needed, he seems to be able to do the simple tasks as well as the business tasks, and he seems like the most suitable for the job. I still like him, seems like he's the only one with any ideas in his team Yasmina - Definitely has potential even though I don't like her methods (or her). Kim - Needs to show the balls she promised last week otherwise her niceness will get her into trouble. She'll struggle as TL if she doesn't get annoyed at people. She struggled as TL because she didn't have the balls Rocky - Had potential but messed up his best task and for that he deserved to go Maj - We needed to see more of Maj, he was too laid back for his own good but he might have flourished as TL Anita - Miserable, useless and never going to go anywhere, she deserved to go Paula - Tough decision, but she did make a horrendous mistake and that's all it takes to get you thrown out of the Apprentice |
