Beans on Toast--ABV 5%

just had this today but with a slight twist, I poured out most of the "sauce" that is in the tin, and poured in 1/2 a can of stella instead.

Microwaved it for 3 minutes or so , toast out of the toaster, buttered it.. put it all on a plate, and voila

it didn't taste that bad, although i have had a few beers tonight so maybe it dilutes the taste-buds somewhat

just thought id share my innovative cooking with all you budding delias'

Not much consolation but Welsh Rarebit is made with beer/ale, so in essence you have just made a variation of a classic

oh well, least you learn't something, BB's and lager don't work. Someone should write a post-pub cook book, containing disasters as well as triumphs. I know someone who thought boiling rice in the kettle would be quicker, fell asleep, next day went to make a coffee and...well, you can imagine. I've had a fried egg sandwich made by the same person, thought it tasted funny at the time, next morning saw that the bottle of orange squash was sat next to the bottle of oil..

Drunk cooking is brilliant! I live with the man who invented the egg, Dairylea, and raw potato fryup sandwich. I'm not even sure how he swallowed it, but the spectacular results the next morning were something to behold.

I knew someone whose favourite drunk cooking was onions, garlic, ginger and chilli fried together, then eaten from a bowl like cereal.

I would have thought that the pissheads would recoil in horror at the very thought of cooking with booze. It boils off all the precious alcohol!
