i wonder if one of the American tv networks will pick up BGT now, after the massive interest in the show generally, thanks to the whole SB thing? i am sure it would get huge ratings there.

They're not interested in the show; only Susan Boyle & her "story".
I really hope they DON'T show BGT over in America - their versions of Idol and Talent are sensible and mature by comparison to our cringey, sob-story circuses (this, X Factor, etc.).

They cant show Britains got talent cause Simon Cowell is not alowed to appear on anyone other talent show as part of his idol contract!
Simon can't appear on any network other than FOX and they won't buy the show because America's Got Talent is shown on NBC and they'd be promoting a competitors show.
Anyway, they probably wouldn't show a British show where the US public couldn't vote or participate on the cable channels let alone one of the big 4 networks.

Of course it won't stop her first live appearance in the USA being on Americas Got Talent so everyone tunes in tho!
