- he's not a solo act, his family distract from his performance

Can't really compare, Elliot was part of a five piece group and only had a few lines. Plus his voice has now broke.

Shaheen sang two different styles of songs and sang much longer than Elliot did.

I prefer Elliot, though.

but if he has a career singing it will definitely be as a solo artist... (with his sisters as backing singers!)

Hopefully we'll hear more of Elliott in the next rounds.

i think he'd be better off coming back on to the x factor in a few years when his adult voice has settled and he's grown into his looks for the teenage girl vote.

Good point! I'm not discussing BGT specifically with my opening question, more their respective futures as solo artists. I definitely think Eliot should enter the Xfactor in a few years' time, but will the Xfactor still exist??

Shaheen by a country mile. Outstanding voice, delivery, and feel for the music way beyond his years.

yeah i would agree elliott is potentially the better voice and i am sure the x factor would still be going strong. (or a version thereof, like how x factor has supplanted pop idol)

Well Piers suggested Mum and Dad should take an off-stage role in future so i'm guessing they can.

I'm surprised so many have said Elliott. IMO Shaheen was miles better. Elliott was alright but the rest of his family were so poor that it made him appear to be better than he was.

Shaheen was a class above, IMO.

Shaheen was cute and gad a good voice but he couldn't touch 11 year old Michael Jackson's version of that song.
Elliot wasn't all that either. Out of the two Shaheen was better.

I'm confused about Elliott. He sounds very average to me & I've watched the video on youtube a few times because I thought I missed something. He doesn't go for any of the high notes, and sounded like he was struggling. Whereas Shaheen was much more powerful & seemed to be more natural.

Shaheen by far. Didn't think Elliot was anything special.
