Jody is never right.

Never.

Marco was wrong, he didn't sack Jody.

The others and it would seem he's been slacking from the off from what has been said on tonight's show and the reaction from the others.

the others were right, but when he apologised I felt they were pretty harsh (with the exception of Dynamite and Danielle)

Jody is just a typical chav, he has no respect for anyone and is a lazy get.

The others were right although the way they reacted was rather harsh and perhaps a little contrived.

Yes, I agree with this. Especially Anthea, she was so patronising, acting like his mother.

It sounds like he's been a lazy bugger for more than just today, even Linda was fed up with him-he's a highly strung spoiled baby by the looks of it.
However Grant and Anthea totally patronised him, I can't stand the three of them now

Jody was wrong.

He threw his toys out of the pram when Marco told him he was working on potatoes again. He was angry that Ade had been allowed to work on fish again and felt he should have been given the opportunity.

Jody should think back to last year when Barry McGuigan won HK for his mashed potatoes and he never complained but took pride in what he produced.

Jody also lied to the others about serving a table which didn't exactly endear him to the others when they found out he had lied to them, especially as he had done very little with the prep during the day.

Heres my view on Jody and the rest:

They all see him as a bit of a threat really. He is cocky, confident, eager to please Marco and eager to win. Plus he is young and really wants to win. Yes he is a little annoying but this is a kitchen not a tea party.

In the early stages he got some positive feedback about his food and his service. He has also gone above and beyond to make sure the service was good, re-doing someones steak at one point even tho he was the waiter and he was the one who begged Marco to let him serve the last table. He cares.

Marco sees a bit of himself in Jody and can understand why certain things have happened.

And then we have Anthea.. who yesterday was certain she was going to be sacked, and then today all of a sudden has nothing good to say about Jody, accusing him of being a slacker repeatedly. Her husband is very quick to jump in and defend her as he doesn't want her to go, and Adi (who lied yesterday with the pasta) has no issue with throwing insults about either.. even tho he himself is the biggest joker in the group.

Anthea smells blood and goes for it. And when Jody tries to say sorry, she refuses to allow him to do so. Referring to him as "the slacker" and then turning around and saying "Oh there *he* is" with a smug look on her face.

So Jody talks to Marco, who understands his plight.

He says sorry again, but do they say sorry back? Did Ade say sorry for calling him a t**ser? No. Did Anthea say sorry for calling him a t**ser? No. No one apologised to him.

He is the target now.

What amused me the most tonight is Ade and his "You lied" line. Yet it was Ade who lied to Marco on the pasta task because he failed to admit he used the left over demonstration pasta, even tho the other girl confessed. So whos the liar now Ade?

They're all a joke, and frankly their victimisation of Jody is blatent, especially vicious Anthea.

I hope Jody wins just to wipe the smiles off their faces.

He was in the wrong. He's a hothead and will go overboard.

But he did apologise. Again. Again and again.

I found the bit where some of them wouldnt accept his apology excruciating. And Grany playing "insulted my wife" was horrific.

Anthea was waiting for the chance to play headmistress, she inserted herself into the argument. She came out of it as bad as him.

Those which came out well are Linda, Naomi and Danielle.

I think they were frightened they were going to be punished for Jody lying to them. So really they were all thinking of themselves and it became nothing to do with how Jody was behaving.
Anthea called Jody a lot more crass names than he did her. She showed herself up more than him purely on her reaction alone. Why did her lovely husband not tell Anthea to apologize for calling another team mate a wanker? Is it ok to call a man names but not a women?

Jody was in the wrong.

Yeah, the others might have seemed harsh, but why should they take any notice of his half-arsed oscar worthy apology. Give it a day and he'll be acting like an annoying gobshite again.

That certainly was made clear wasn't it? He'd also apologised a few times as well by the sounds of things.

I think you missed the bit where everyone said he was lazy (including Marco). Why would they see him as a threat when he's such a slacker.

From what was said it wasn't just that day he'd been considered lazy either.

Speaking as a potential diner..... I think Jodie was right. If I'd been one of the customers who had to leave without getting served, I would feel pretty embarrassed and hurt. The fact that the extra effort was made on my behalf would have been very much appreciated.

Yeah, Bruce and i think Linda referred to it. Granthea made a meal out of it all though

Plus he said "thats not good enough" to Nick's back as he walked away from the pass. Imagine that jumped up twerp criticising Nick's maitre'd skills

Latham was in the wrong.

By way of mitigation to the rest of the cast (er, team), his arrogant, toadying, smirky, smug mush would be enough to send me over the edge.
Coupled with the obvious that he doesn't do much for the team and the fact he never shuts the fc*k up and his licking of Marco's hairy arse, I conclude he was in the wrong and the others (including the married couple) were right in refusing his lying, easily said 'apologies'

PS He's also a jealous little b*strd

Tonight he showed great frustration in having to work on the mash again when he really wanted to do meat or fish, which requires much more work and attention. So I'm a bit confused as to where this "slacker" tag seems to have come from, because from what I'm sat he seems to be the one who wants to do the most.

Meat and fish are for the more competent, he desperately wants to be seen as the best but according to his team mates and Marco he has been dossing, thats probably why he was left on spuds. When he did the pass he cracked under the pressure and during the pasta making he threw a tantrum.

Well the other celebs and Marco get to see him at work all day, we only see him for a few minutes. I'll take their word for it.
