Speak for yourself. I can honestly say I am far more attracted to people who are different to me than people who are similar. While we're 'thinking of the children' it's worth pointing out that children tend to be far more open to people who are different too them than adults. Prejudice is learned, make no mistake.

I cannot believe that anyone would have the audacity to try to argue that gay couples are favoured by local gov when it comes to adoption. Gay couples are fighting an uphill battle to be treated the same as anyone else.

I disagree. The people who need to be challenged are people like you. Sexuality is like eye or hair colour. Preaching discrimination on the basis of it, here in the twenty first century deserves to be fought against.
