I think it's ridiculous to keep your child away from someone because of their sexual preferences based on prejudice and naff judgement, but at the end of the day, we haven't seen the full story!

Of course they dont! Julian Clary is different from Will Young for example! But, general information can be given!

It's like your saying people can't be educated. It can be treated similiar to learning religion.

Like muslims pray 5 times a day for example, Hindu have a god called Krishna, gays sometimes part-take in same-sex sodomy, etc! Factual stuff!

Not sure why this was necessary

A simple acknowledgement of a mistake would have sufficed.

Well seeing as means to roll one's eyes, which would have been my reaction had we been having this "discussion" face to face, yes it was necessary. Teenage thing. Don't worry about it. Here would be where I'd put in a smiley to stop you fretting, but that upsets people so I won't.

But you were replying to a comment made by delectable to me, so indirectly, you were talking to me...

It wont let me edit my post so I'll do it this way... (more to add, was in a rush earlier)
I am personally offended that I have been accused of racism simply for responding to a different poster - somebody else posted that her comments were part of her culture, NOT me. I just said that, if that was the case, they are not acceptable in this culture.
I am just in disbelief that I have myself suffered racism because of my nationality, and now somebody accuses ME of it
I have noticed that the FM in question also accused somebody else in this very thread - a bit to eager to shout racism when it just isnt there.

I'm sure you'll grow up one day.

And for future reference I don't speak through third parties. If I have something to say to you, I'll say it directly.

Honestly, I understood what you were saying and didn't see it as xenophobic or racist, you were making a statement.

Everyone in a certain culture should abide by that culture's rules in terms of respect to other people, whether the people are originally from the culture or not.

At least, I think that's what you were saying...

No I said passive aggressive. Maybe one day you'll learn what that is. So have you got your pencil case all packed for school tomorrow? Or you still in your Easter holidays?

I was finding this thread increasingly depressing Ignazio, but then you came along and produced one of your "quotes" which never fails to put a smile on my face!
