Good on you Naomi!

I love her for standing up to Marco and refusing to back down.

I think despite appearing annoyed, Marco has respect for her.

Naomi doesn't worship Marco like the rest of them.

She sees him as no different to anybody else.

I love her!

Thought she did well. Didn't let MPW intimidate her and persisted calmly until she got her point across in a reasoned and calm manner.

Yeah, she had a well-reasoned argument, and put it across quite eloquently and politely. She should be proud of herself. I think even Marco couldn't deny that, hence him not arguing back to an extent.

She conducted herself brilliantly. She was calm, polite, and Marco was completely put on his back foot by her. I love the slow way she talks, it is compelling. I think if she hadn't spoken out in the way she did, Marco would have fired Anthea tonight. Marco knew he would be resented and not respected if he didn't.

I am annoyed that Anthea gets so much stick over those chips anyway. Jody went behind Marco's back with Danielle Lloyd's lamb, he just wasn't caught.

Anthea did it once whereas Jody thought it was his kitchen and didn't have to take orders.

I know! Jody's been a cock all week but Marco was still banging on about a bowl of fu*king chips.

PS. Loving Naomi.

Hi Sid - nice to be back in a world of civility hey? *mwaah, mwaah.*

I love Naomi - she is a gutsy lady - no insincere grovelling from her.

And kudos to Anthea for backing her.

I hope that was with tongues

Naomi's a star.

To be honest, I like all the remaining contestants

I wonder if Marco has watched any of the footage and has seen it, or maybe one of the producers has mentioned it to him

Up until tonights show I have been a little indifferent towards Naomi but I have so much respect for her after speaking up like she did. She was reasoned and polite but firm and left Marco in no doubt that he had to sack Jody. Shame on the others for not backing her up as Anthea did, especially Grant. Kudos to you Naomi!

Wow! I've just watched the programme now believe it or not (I work strange hours) but GO NAOMI!!! She totally stood up for what she believed and didn't back down under Marco's 'terror stare'! She's now my favourite I also thought that it was good that Anthea backed her up Pity the rest all just let these 2 women do the talking.

(Anthea and Grant (whichever way they got together) do make a pretty strong couple. They've been together about 12 years now and DO seem very happy with each other )

You have to laugh at Anthea trying to do the same straight after, or what appeared to be.

A masterclass in the difference between assertiveness and aggression. She was brilliant. She would not let him talk over her or move on until she had said her piece. She manages to maintain a warm smile without appearing smug and sits with her arms folded without appearing defensive. It appeared as if every word was thought through and delivered perfectly.

What a star - really was the spokesperson for the group and pleased Anthea backed her and was brave too.

Go girl. Would like her to win now.

She proved her worth last night. And good for Anthea too for telling Marco that she lost respect for him!

I agree - hadn't warmed to her much before but she really handled that whole thing brilliantly. Good on Anthea too for backing her up whereas the others all showed themselves up as cowards/game players for staying quiet when she'd opened the whole debate up by going out on a limb

I used to think Miss Dynamit-ee was Miss Overrat-ee as a singer, but I've liked her all the way through this HK and thought she could even win it (and BTW I've missed her lately as a singer, too)

I said this on another thread, but this is surely the relaunch of Ms Dynamite's career. I hope so anyway; she was fab.

Yes, round of applause for Niomi ! It was brilliantly done.

Any chance she'll consider a career in Politics sometime in the future

sadly, I don't think so. she said recently that she's in the studio but it's only for fun.

shame, because she's extremley talented (her recent performance of lauryn hill's "doo wop" is amazing) and that new song she did was hot.

I really respect her. She has gone up so much in my estimation (not that that would matter much to her . I didn't think I would like her that much but I do. She has matured since her early days of fame and it suits her. Go girl! When you think she and Jody are the same age.....I thought he was about 22!!!
