I did feel sorry for Nick tonight!

Poor Nick when he dropped all the food, I have to say I giggled and Marco saying Nick has gone down

Nick doesn't seem to be coping well over the last few nights

He fell twice last year, didn't he? Poor thing!

Yeah, he doesn't seem to be the most awesome maitre d', but he must have been decent to work under Marco, he wouldn't have someone bad running front of house... Maybe he isn't too comfortable in front of cameras, gets nervous and stressed easily?

Nick is part of the show imo!

He fell twice in the last series, both incidents were very funny We've seen a masterful side to him this series though I feel, when he worked the Patron's side of The Pass he was quite forceful

I'm new to Hell's Kitchen this year and so far, I've not been impressed with Nick. The service marks were worse when there were NO celebs there. He dropped a whole tray (ok one off mistake, could happen to anyone). He must have known Ansell's girlfriend would not like her meat pink from what she had previously said when she changed her order, but he did not warn her - instead, he seemed to enjoy her ignorance.

I wonder if he only works with Marco because any head of house with a back bone would not put up with MPW. Marco undermined him tonight and he just took it on the chin. Marco, who goes on about team work ...

Was he different in pervious series?

Well, who the hell would employ a butter fingers for service

He's forever going a over t... and sending the dishes crashing to the floor.

I'm wondering if this is done on purpose each series

It's either that, or Judy tied his shoelaces together during a final act of defiance

I was shocked at the diva-like behavior of Jonathan Ansell. His girlfriend looked quite embarrassed. Poor Nick.

I have been to more restaurants than I care to remember over the years and I honestly don't think I've ever seen a waiter fall over.
Nic has gone down at least twice, which leads me to think either;
A) It's done on purpose, or
B) He's in the wrong job

Or the camera men get in the way.

What with the dim lighting and black floor with steps everywhere, I'm surprised he hasn't fallen over more!

"Nick's gone down, Nick's gone down!" Did make me chuckle.

Aww I love Nick! I think he's fantastic
His falls though they add to the comedy aspect of the show are really bad I always end up thinkin' "Aww no Nick!"
I am under the impression that the steps in HK must be evil as hell as they always seem to get the better of him!

I think he's great at dealing with the upstarts, he took no rubbish yesterday with that mouthy Ansell and his table and even when he went upto the passe' to complain 'bout Nick Marco defended his friend!

Nick's gone DOWN, Nick's gone DOWN.
That did make me smile I have to say and even after service Marco and Nick were laughing 'bout it! <3

Why is it always him that falls over though, and not one of the other waiters? Even the "amateur" waiters manage to stay upright.
I still think it's a setup (or down in Nic's case)

This will sound nerdy but whatever.

My dad's an architect and he said that if it was a normal 'proper' restaurant, they would have to have contrasting step grips in order to prevent people falling over like Nick did.

Think I'd fall a over t if I was carrying things down dim-lighted, all black stairs

But "NICK'S GONE DOWN!" was very funny :P

I just think Nick is so lovely. He is just as much a star as Marco is. He does seem a little clumsy but I love him for it

I know, Nick's a star. One yell of "NIIIIIICCKKKK" and he comes in grinning, bless him!
