I'm surprised Claudia Winkleman can keep a straight face and utter the term "stars" when the likes of Alison Hammond, Chris De Burgh, Matthew Wright, Jonathan Ansell, Paul Ross, Christopher Biggins and Danielle Lloyd are the clientele turning up

They seem more well known than the contestants, though, which makes you wonder how they struggled to get anyone well known on. I'd never heard of Danielle and I thought Jody was a boxer!

I had no idea who Danielle Bux was until i saw Gary Lineker dining in the HK restaurant.

Maybe she means 'stars' as in 'they come out at night', rather than being stars in the 'famous for having some talent' sense

Well she calls them "celebrities" as well, the eels that were decapitated the other day are more famous "celebrities" than Paul Ross if you ask me.

Most of these so called famous celebs eating at Hells Kitchen, will show up anywhere for a free meal and a bit of TV coverage.

Trolls the lot of them.

I like Phil Tuffnell. He comes across as warm and funny. I would rather see him presenting the show then Claudia tbh.

I could have sworn that Bradley (Eastenders) was a guest there last night (might be completely mistaken though)

I saw Kevin Adams too.

The actor who plays Bradley seemed to be sitting at the same table as the actress who used to play Chrissie Watts. Mo Slater was there another night too.

I think they are mad if they go on the opening night, but it might be quite a good laugh to go later in the run, especially if you go with the expectation that it's a night out with a bit of entertainment on the side rather than a top meal for free.

HK is an ideal opportunity for the Z listers to get a tiny bit of TV exposure as it has very good viewing figures.
This, I believe, is the main reason they turn up, the free meal is just an added bonus.

The 'celebrity' diners are a perfect match for the 'celebrity' cooks. The z-list feeding the z-list.

Imagine going out to dinner and finding not only that Chris De Bleeuurrgghh is at the next table but also he happens to have brought his guitar with him!
I'd be off like a shot
And how many more free dinners is Gary Lineker going to turn up for? Has he run out of crisps?

I would be like getting free centre court tickets at Wimbledon and then finding out you are sitting next to Cliff Richards...

LOL, there's not enough steak tartare in the world to keep someone from saying Ta-Ta, in that situation! (ok shocking joke, but is true!)

Maybe Mr Lineker is suffering from insecurity...?!

Oh dear Boyd Hilton, a wannabe celebrity writing a magazine mostly full of shit about equally talentless shitcrabs like him, wrote this on Twitter:

boydhilton In HK bar with Piers Morgan, blokes from Hollyoaks, Gary Lineker, Bobby Davro, Daniella Westbrook and Claudia's mum!

Lineker again?!! It must be those new flavours Walkers brought out that has turned him off the crisps. You'd think he'd be able to fork out for his own grub though.

Gary Lineker - King of the freeloaders.

I reckon he wants to keep an eye on Dannielle and Marco

I'd just love to see someone like Russell Crowe there. Let's see Marco having the balls to tell him to fcuk off after he inevitably complains.

I wonder when its time for them to wheel out the big guns ... Katona and Price!!

Its a good opportunity for them- free night out, free food, kick up a fuss and end up on TV/in the papers, get papped ...

Do you think they'd cook Prawn Spoons and Pastry Boats at Hells Kitchen?
