Well we have had our first sacking and the show continues...

Marco Pierre White turns up the heat on the novice celebrity chefs by evaluating how far they have progressed since their arrival. Claudia Winkleman presents.

Looking forward to this now that it's not the Jody Latham show. I wonder who will start showing a bit more personality (or who the editors will allow to show some personality!). I'd like to see more of Bruce. He's been very much in the background so far.

I may tune in tonight now that Jody has been sacked. Seriously, that nonsense the other night, with his thousand apologies and his chat with Marco, made me cringe and at the same time, and I vowed not to watch again, which peed me off, as I'd been looking forward to it this season.

Rant over now.

Before I switched off, I had been rooting for Ade and Anthea, but also Bruce has been quietly reserved and he may just be the dark horse.

I met him once, when he came into my pub with his brother, and they sat quietly in the corner, had a few Guinnesses, and left at closing time. I got his autograph - not many famous people came into my little pub

He was charning and pleasant, so I'm hoping he'll do OK in the show.

Thanks Sunday. Was panicking a bit then, couldn't find the thread, and I knew you'd have done one.

So Marco is putting someone in charge doesn't he do that every night.

I thought that person was Claudia for a second when I saw her in what looks like a white apron.

This series is a lot like American Big Brother but with cooking this year

The older ones don't miss him, she isn't exactly Miss Teen at the age of 28 this month.

Did Bruce's parents have a camera or did they just draw a picture of him.

Danielle has a curled upper lip reminiscent of the young Elvis Presley.

I hope Danielle's mom didn't take her pricing gun to the fruit and veg shop for those peppers.
