Now we can archive BBC HD Programs how...
Now we can archive BBC HD content, how do you go about playing it on a laptop/pc? I have an external hdd that is formatted with ext2 , but I cannot play the hd archive on my pc.... can anybody tell me how?

You can't, it's encrypted. You can only play them back on your HDR.

1. Put a sat card in your PC and record directly to your hard disk. 2. Download the HD file from the interweb - ![]() 3. NEW - Download from HD file from BBC iPlayer and remove DRM - ![]() I guess I could add another: 4. Put a 2TB drive in the Humax and don't archive for now - ![]() HTH |

Or if you want a specific programme in HD then record it in non-freesat mode. It won't be encrypted then and you can play it on your PC.

Isn't it just a waste of time having this functionality when you cant play it anywhere else. I am pretty disappointed and it is just adding to the the list of things that are clumsy with this box.
