Anyone else like them cold out the tin?

Such a cheap food and way better for you than other foods...
Barely any fat, full of protein, antioxidants and you can even get reduced sugar/salt versions now from Heinz..

I would say that 'Beans on Toast' (with cheese) is still very much part of my diet

cold - yuck!!! warm just about bearable!! (although I am going through a bit of a bean phase recently - think I've eaten more in the past two months than I have in the past two years!!)

BF has eaten the cold, out of the tin.... He was drunk though!!

My uncle eats them straight from the tin. I can eat them cold if it's my own fault that they went cold while I was eating them but couldn't eat them cold through choice. I can do that with rice pudding though

I put the tin in the fridge to get ice cold, beautiful, can't stand to eat them heated up.

Not cold from the tin, no. But on toast with cheese and Worcestershire sauce, or in a baked potato, or in a toastie with cheese, mixed in Smash, with chips... I could go on, but I won't

Beans, beans, they're good for your heart.
The more you eat, the more you fart.
the more you fart, the better you feel
so eat beans for every meal

I only eat them hot. I used to buy Heinz but I've been buying Branston lately.

Is it really true they make you fart or is it only an urban myth ?

When misses has been busy all day, and needs to knock up a quick meal, she puts chopped green chillies, chopped coriander, bit of chilli powder and some other spices into a pot with baked beans....eat with chapatis surprising nice.

Never had them cold though.

When your body digests food it lets of gases. Beans take longer to digest so they are building up gases further down your digestive system and they need to escape.

I had them from the tin last week. They are as delicious to me now as they were when I did it as a kid!

I add a dash of Worcester sauce to beans, then pour them over cheese on toast - scrummy
