I got emotional watching Bruce

telling his story and by seeing his dish that he prepared, you could see how important it was to him so I am glad he got the recognition from Marco that he deserved.

Yes it was emotional.....I'm wrong to think this but I didn't like him referring to the house boy as such when he said he was like a father. If he was then give him the courtesey of referring to him by name or a more affectionate moniker not his servant role. Having said that of course people refer to their nannies in the same fashion and they obviously play a similar role.

Hmm just made me feel uncomfortable and that's probably my bad.

Agreed, the "house boy" reference sounded like a slightly more politically correct term for "slave".

Yes the "boy" in question could have been in his 70's. Awful as it is thats what SA was like when Bruce was growing up.

I too shed a little tear at Bruce's recollection

Between the 'houseboy' references and the chicken feet recipe, I just found it a bit nauseating.

I felt sad when Bruce was talking. He is a lovely person.
