I agree but I guess it's not exactly her fault as it's Marco who is keeping her at the pass each evening.

I really feel for the others who are constantly under pressure to cook the dishes whilst Danielle conveniently flies under the radar courtesy of Marco.

Maybe he's done a deal with Gary Lineker not to work her too hard and maybe that is why GL is there every blasted evening (along with Danielle's daughter in tow now too I see).

Gary gets to go into the kitchen to canoodle with Danielle under Marco's nose and, tonight, even her daughter was allowed in the kitchen area!!

Marco liked her from day 1, there is something sneaky about her. She should be cooking like the rest of them. Maybe Marco knows she can't cook.

You beat me to it Jilly - I was going to pose the same question on here.

Danielle's shouted out a couple of orders and dressed a few plates.

Grant, as unbearable as he was at times, was in the thick of the action. I'd have liked to have seen how Danielle coped on spud duty.

Marco's clearly got a soft spot for her. Has done since day one.

I think ITV are courting Gary, what better way to sweeten him up than giving his girl friend a clear route to a reality show final.

Even the ones that do cook seem to stay on the same station it all seems a bit daft to me. Linda always on crab, Anthea always on fennel, Ade on fish etc etc. Also for Naomi to call Grant bossy (which he was) she is not far behind and I have not quite worked out what she does.

It's not a question of 'claws out' but it really isn't fair on the others that she is being given an easy ride. Nothing to do whether anyone is pretty or not as I couldn't care less about looks.

It's about proving competence in the kitchen whilst under pressure and Danielle has not had to do that yet. The others all look pretty knackered, yet she remains looking fresh and hassle free.

I know. The kitchen's not as interesting as last year.

Even before service, the contestants were given a proper cookery lesson during the day and learnt a range of dishes by the time they left. I really enjoyed that aspect of the show.

Now the focus is just on Marco and the celebs and what they think of one another

Anthea is going to go away having learnt nothing but how to cook fennel. What's the point of that!?

Spot on, I am sure she even has time to top up her lipstick, you never see her without it on.

It was best with the live feed up until 12, I do think this lot have a lot of fun after service. I still have some tapes of the first series, which carried on filming after the show.

You're right though - this year's lot seem to have a hoot after hours - especially Linda, Ade and Naomi!

What point? Do you think I started this thread because I am jealous of her, oh dear, I can't think of anything I would be envious of! I think its Marco thats lost his judgement, not me. Danielle does not even break sweat which in a hot kitchen is remarkable.

They all do the same jobs every night. I think she should do more cooking but I was talking about the little bitchy digs.
Marco never changes it. I like Ade and Naomi the best but Danielle hasn't done anything wrong yet.

First series was great, Amanda Barrie was a hoot, Edwina Currie was extremely adept at winding Gordon Ramsey up but did not seem to give a damm that she was doing so. Was one by an extremely pretty girl Jeniifer Enniston who was extremely talented.

When she was put on the crab section, she moaned that she felt out of it and wanted to work with Marco again at the pass.

She's being protected by him.

Danielle will cook when Hell freezes over.

I'm still convinced that ITV want to poach Gary and this is their way of doing it.

He does seem to be in there every night, which seems very strange.

I recall hearing the gossip about the first series, but I didn't tune in. Wish I had as it sounded like a great line-up!

I think I'd prefer Ramsay in charge too.

She is cooking as much as any of them. Its just that there is almost zero cooking going on. None of them have cooked anything only just stirred something or tossed something around in a pan or played around with food on a plate.
