I agree, I am very disappointed that Marco has not moved them around much, she does come over as Teacher's pet.

I prefer Marco, Ramsey used to shut the kitchen and hardly anyone was fed at all.

You must be watching a different show to me.

She's on the pass and doesn't cook at all.

What do you mean he shut the kitchen? Mid-way through service!?

He did, most nights. They are both very different, Marco sends most of the food out regardless and is very much on the side of the kitchen. Gordon just wanted absolute perfection, seems strange now that he has got caught out with his boil in a bag.

Yes he did, some diners sat there for 2 hours and never got fed, he does the same on the American version.

Oh no, can't be doing with that.

I just wish Marco was more like he was last series.

He's trying too hard to be menacing this time round, and his ego is over-inflated.

I agree he was better last year, it is a lot more stage managed this time round.

Yeah, he acts too much this year! He's curbed it a bit though, the first episode was awful with the pantomime villain act!

ITV probably told him: 'Be scary, but don't make 'offensive' comments'!

I definately felt the whole Jody affair was manufactured.

But boy did they milk the shot of him sharpening his knife in front of a terrified Danielle during the first week

Im so glad Im not the only one to think this. I havent once seen her under pressure, sweating or being called non stop as have most of the others especially Linda. She doesnt appear to do anything except be in the front with Marco, looking pretty.

Marco has constructively criticised every single other person, except her. And how come she was allowed to have her daughter in the kitchen tonight! She couldnt have done that if she had been on chips or mash!

She is definitely coasting through at the moment, and its not fair on the others

Nothing on Ramsey.

Ramsey was absolutely foul to Amanda Barrie, totally undeserved and met his match with Edwina Currie.

Exactly - she hasn't cooked anything whatsoever.

It's about time someone else was given an easy ride at the pass instead of it always being Danielle.

I find it quite odd really, why is she always on the pass, surely she want to learn to cook like the others? I agree with the poster that said none of them have done much cooking yet - cooking meat and fish simply, chips and mash, fennel and asparagus - even the starters are more just plating up cold prepared food. But at least the others are learning the basics, Danielle surely would struggle on the meat, fish, potato or vegetable stations. Not sure what Marco thinks this is achieving.

In your opinion......so you've brought the jellus card out already!!

People, as you well know, are allowed to have an opinion on someone that differs from yours and it doesn't make them jealous.

I have found her irritating - a bit underhand with her scaredy cat act when I don't think she is at all and I did find her saying "see you in two days" constantly a little annoying as she absolutely assumed she wouldn't go last night. Her dislike of being away from the pass and making a bitchy comment about another celeb when she previously had done exactly that - jumped in assuming the role was hers (the look of shock on her face was absolutely priceless when she discovered it was Grant).

I don't loathe her at all but these are things I've noticed whilst watching a reality show and I thought that was the point.

I might have got your hopes up that they mentioned Digital Spy?!

They have a page dedicated to TV views and I sent a comment in about Hell's Kitchen.

If you turn on ITV and put in p.137, my comment should be there.

No, I am sad enough to get excited just about your comment. I am a bit stir crazy at the moment, I confess.

she does cook, granted she's not stood behind a stove all night like the others but she works hard

you've got to remember that she dresses the dishes, i'm not saying that the others have got it easy (they clearly haven't!) but she has a hell of a lot more to remember than someone like anthea who continuously cooks the same thing every night, danielle clearly has a very good memory to be able to do what she does

when ade was a waiter for an evening he was asked what accompaigned one of the dishes and he couldn't remember, at that point in the show i don't think he would've coped with danielle's job very well

however, i do agree that she works more on presentation than actual cooking... i just don't think that it's the easy option
