Danielle's little girl
Moody Blue

Well............... she moved me to tears!

Poor little thing, she misses her Mum so much, how could Danielle stay there? (apart from the fame and fortune winning could bring!)

I dunno.........I couldn't do that to my child

I couldn't either. That was a little girl seriously missing mummy, it was a little upsetting. It's easy to judge though, I suppose. She could easily have been a little overtired too, so it might not have been quite as bad as it looked.

I know, I felt sorry for her!

At least she got a filthy headscarf to cheer her up though!

I thought it was hilarious when she sniffed it! Not sure what aroma she was expecting from it! Wish they had cut to Marco to see how he reacted to that. Cue Marco sharpening his knives vigorously!

Very cute daughter. I think Danielle should have been crouching on the kitchen floor shouting 'don't touch me!' when her daughter left. As you do.

She did seem politely pleased with the sweaty headscarf. Lol.

Maybe it was the stench from the sweaty headscarf that reduced her to tears... or perhaps Gary whispered "I'll tuck that up in bed with you tonight if you like"

Many parents have to leave their children for a few days, weeks or months. Danielle is a model so I presume she has spent time away whilst on location. Actors, military personnel, emergency workers, airline personnel, and business personnel, etc,. all have to spend time away from their children........they have to earn a living. Not everyone can have 9 to 5 jobs based from home.

Most children are able to understand these absences especially with the help of the a remaining loving parent. I suspect it was a mistake to take her daughter to the show as a short visit in a hectic, noisy atmosphere where she would have little time to talk to her mother would probably be far more unsettling than an unbroken absence.

She is a lovely little girl. She misses her mum and seeing her tonight, as well as being up late, moved her to tears a bit but I daresay she is OK most of the time. Gary seemed very good with her.

When I saw him taking off that headscarf to give to her, my thoughts were:-

1. Finally he is getting rid of that thing...!
then...
2. Damn, not another one!
3. poor girl, got a sweaty, smelly scarf for her trouble...
4. She bursts into tears...scarf probably smellin a bit ripe...
5. Gary coming to collect her, looks evilly at the scarf (can see it being traded for a brand new one, whilst she is not looking, the old one being burnt as he would not want anything of Marco's in his house!)

She was a gorgeous little girl and seemed impeccably mannered......thought it quite telling that Danielle was assuming she was staying that night though!

Her sniffing Marco's headrag is one of my highlights of the show so far.

Someone should have whispered in her ear 'don't worry, you can Ebay it!'

I thought the same. She must be phoning her daughter at least, if not using a web cam, so maybe taking her there where Danielle couldn't spend much time with her wasn't such a good move

She's a little cutie though isn't she? lovely little girl

Yes his oldest is George and had leukaemia. My sister was a nurse at GOH and knew the family . To go through all that worry and split up. Danielle looks so much younger than gary.

Damn those working mums trying to make a good life for their kids they should be more like Karen Matthews and spunge of us taxpayers. I agree how dare she want to make a better life for herself and her kid. Women should stay at home and be a good wifey and mother to their kids.

No, Danielle was just being honest in not promising her daughter that she would be home at a specific time. 'In a couple of days' was reassuring at a time when her daughter was obviously upset, and if Danielle stays in for four days instead of 'the couple', then that situation can always be bigged up as 'mummy is doing really well in the competition' and therefore an acceptable reason why mummy isn't home quite as soon as she promised.
But for Danielle to say 'I'll be home tonight' when she didn't know who Marco would be sending home, would have been even more upsetting for her daughter.

I didn't say that, I'm a working mum myself, always have been.

And maybe I can understand her doing this program for fame and fortune. I just couldn't have stayed after seeing her cry.............................for what exactly?

Does Danielle want to open her own restaraunt one day?

She is doing it for the money firstly and is probably looking to learn how to cook better. She probably is their for the fame just like the other celebs are their to get more work. What about Ade he has a young family and Naomi has a kid as well.
