Thanks, you said what I've been thinking since last night's pathetically OTT drama. For Gawd's sake, they're only in there for five minutes in the scheme of things, they can actually SEE their other halves EVERY NIGHT IN THE RESTAURANT if they want to!!
You'd think they were on an island in the middle of the Atlantic, cut off from all contact and civilization. Biggest bunch of half-witted babies that have ever troubled a reality tv show before. Bah!
Surprised they don't treat it like a holiday (albeit a working one). It can be good to get away from family life for a bit!. Grant and Anthea clear example - joined at the hip, can't do anything without the other.......
It does seem a bit OTT. Had'nt Bruce been away for long periods of time over the years with the football?

Hells Kitchen is a parady of what it used to be. It now has nothing at all to do with cooking and has been turned into another fake personality show. They have ruined what used to be quite a good program.
We had Bruce pretending he was missing his wife who he had only seen 5 minutes earlier. For heaven sake he can see his wife every night after the program. Do people seriously think they keep them looked up in the restaurant.

I think this is likely. And having to keep up the act 24/7? I think they are so pampered and spoiled, both emotionally and materially, that they just can't cope in these environements. Not all of them. Ade, for example, doesn't look like he is going to fall to pieces anytime soon. And I have been impressed with Danielle's response to being away from her daughter.

could well be - I thought it was sweet he missed his wife so much (didn't realise they had only been married a few months) but 5 days - and Anthea's reaction to Grant going - just a tad OTT in my humble opinion.

Yes they do sleep in the quarters and don't go home after the service.......
Regardless of that it's all very pathetic.
