I've seen quite a few people talking about these so ended up getting myself one. Ordered it Monday lunchtime and it was delivered at 8.55 Tuesday morning - talk about speedy delivery.

I ordered one set in the bag with the bottle and ordered a spare set of boxes. Am going to try it out tomorrow and will try to take a piccy to post. I'm also hoping it will help with my diet and portion sizes - if it won't fit in a box i can't eat it!!

How many other people have got one?

Maybe this thread could be dedicated to them and what people have in their lunch boxes.

YAY! Laptop Lunchboxes will take over the world one day. Make sure you do take photos.

I've had mine for eighteen months now, and I absolutely love it.

I got mine because of this community:

Here are mine:

I have had one for a few weeks after reading Elanor's posts about them. I get laughed at when i get it out at work but i adore it and there are plenty of people coming past my desk commenting on how delicious my lunch looks I tend to take salads/meats/fruit/coleslaw at the moment, however this is just because i'm having a salad kick,it will change and i think you can basically take anything.

Thanks Elanor

I bought one a few months ago and I love it! It's great for me as I get so bored of sandwiches and this way I can take picky bits, salad and leftovers. I'd have to say it is a great investment to make

I got one and also bought the ice pack and cover

Took it into work and someone said quite seriously "Is that a toolbox?"

Yeah like I am going to take a socket set into work

I wish I was on commission. Four of my real life friends have bought one after seeing mine, and I've lost count of how many people online have said they've got one too.

My favourite thing about them is like Chinchilla says, you can take all sorts of little picky nibbles and leftovers.

I got one last year after seeing a thread somewhere about them. I love it and use it pretty much every day for work. I take all sorts of stuff even soup in the little lidded container which you can just put straight in the microwave. Manage to fit leftovers from Sunday lunch too - very jealous looks from work colleagues over the Yorkshire puds and roasties

Just to check you can put the containers in the microwave can't you? Can you also put the lids?

Yes, they're fine. I wouldn't put them in with the lid on though, the steam needs to get out. Have it half open. They're also fine in the freezer.

I quite often take yoghurt with frozen fruit - by the time it gets to lunch time, the fruit has defrosted but it's still cold enough to keep the rest of the box cold.

That's a good tip, might have to try that. I did take a pic today but won't have time to post it until tomorrow.

I've also found that kids' camping cutlery fits in the LLB nicely - and has knives. I've got a pink polka dotty set from a kitchen shop, and a cute green set with snails on from Sainsbury's.

I recently ordered one of these plus a couple of spare sets of innards after drooling over Elanor's lunchbox pics

I've had limited mobilty for 10 months and counting due to a foot injury and have only recently begun to travel in to the office again. The laptop lunchbox is perfect for me at the moment as it fits nicely in a small rucksack (I can't carry anything in my hands because I use crutches). It's also great for portion control, which I definitely need after 10 months of near inactivity!

I'm sad that this isn't an actual laptop as a lunchbox.

I find now that I'm always on the look out for mini things - mini pita pockets are good, and mini naan bread. Tescos sometimes has those tiny mini pots of hummous on sale for being near the sell by date. I've found a few little lidded pots that fit in the box too, and have a few little silicon cupcake cases to put things in too.

Very NICE!
I'm not working at the mo however I reckon this would be good for portion control and since I'm trying my best to eat healthy etc I might get myself one and fill it in the morning with what I have to have for lunch, mid afternoon snack etc.

That way the temptations of what are in the fridge, cupboards and so on won't be so much of a problem!

I'm sure it was your photo's that inspired me to get one of these when there was a thread on them sometime last year? I even had a couple of friends get them too!

Hi Elanor - I am a bento fanatic so loved your photos - niiiiice!

Just a quick question though - did your avocado and apple go manky overnight? I have never bothered using them cos I assumed they would but there is a slight over-reliance on cheey tonatoes, grapes and cucumber in my bentos!
