Sorry to see you go, you have been such a lovely man and so brilliant in the kitchen

Indeed, a pleasure to watch and very humble to boot.

I liked Grobbelaar but he reminds me too much of Fu Manchu:

Seeing him with his wife and how much he loves her was adorable.

Loved Brucie and was shocked at his decision. Coinciding as it did with Hillsborough it must have been a very difficult week for him.

Good luck Bruce - you're a true gent.

He was amazing, just finished watching the recording now.

An absolutely lovely man, he can be really proud of himself.

Am I the only one who thinks this is some sort of elaborate betting scam?

^^ He walked because he said he really missed his wife, and didn't want any of the others to get sacked.

Well, I wasn't expecting that.

Really sad that Bruce decided to quit when there were only another 4 or so days to go but what a lovely guy.

Thank you wfh. Interesting and clever. If Bovey had done that I wouldn't have believed him but Bruce was clearly winning so walked at the right time for him.

I liked him a lot too. He was quite taciturn so I was very touched when his emotions overcame him in the childhood cooking task.

I wonder if he knew naomi was low and that if he walked then it would at least give her time to reconsider. I'm sure seeing his wife was a big factor but not the only reason.

Bruce is a gentleman in every sense of the word.
He is a very caring and lovely man, wish some of our current footie players would take a leaf out of his book.

It is genuinly touching to see a man openly show such love and devotion to his wife.
I also think it was a hard week with the hillsborough anniversary too though.

I wish him ever success in life as he is a lovely man and deserves the best. xx

I was convinced it was Niomi who'd walked !
What a shocker it turned out to be Bruce

Sad I am. But, heartened by the thought that Bruce has his priorities sorted and his family come first. He's a top bloke and he will be very much missed.
