I agree entirely Sid with all three points.

I thought it was rather farcical last night when Marco sacked Anthea purely on the basis she'd shown no growth and had merely been consistent.

She'd only been given the stations of doing the fennel and asparagus and mashed potatoes and chips so how did he expect her to grow for goodness sake? There's only so much you can do with those items and, once you've mastered the art of knowing how to cook asparagus properly, what else is there to know?

If he's applying that to Anthea, then it should be applied to all of them. Linda has solely been on crab at the back of the kitchen for the duration so has not been given the chance of operating another station.

Danielle was given the crab station initially but didn't like being at the back of the kitchen as she felt 'out of it' so Marco brought her forward to the pass where she has remained. How is that 'growth'?

Then she has the audacity to say she has improved the most out of all of them and the team need her to stay!!

What cooking? There has been pretty much zero cooking in this series

He had to shut the kitchen down many times.
My issue is we haven't seen much teaching and cooking, and with no ITV2 show we see little prep time and after service.
I do like the little cooking clips on the ITV site

More about psychology.”

Well Yes you are correct less food has been waster because they have produce very little.

Its a novel concept this year. A kitchen that does not produce food.

The whole program has turned into a farce. What have any of them produced? All I have seen is them playing around with food already on a plate. The odd bit of stirring of a saucepan of potato which appear to be too much for them and one of the pro chefs has to help and he odd bit of tossing a bit of meat or fish in a saucepan.

The food going to the people in the resturant is ceratinly not coming from that kitchen or most of them would starve.
