Bruce going was dissapointing because he was one of the celebs that DIDNT have a big ego.
He was great in the kitchen and held it all together.
I thought it was a combination of things that made him decide to leave tonight.
1 Seeing his wife and he could see how much she missed him and needed him home.
2 When he asked her how he was doing she said I miss you, he was looking for reassurance that he was doing well and not coming accross in a bad light, and I dont think he got that reassurance she was busy telling him she missed him.
3 When he was overlooked for running the pass, I think that hurt him after all the praise he has been getting from marco I just think that after all the time in the background he wanted just a chance to shine in the front of the kitchen.
And was overlooked, I think that may have hurt him.

I cant understand Marco's choice in the events that he has shown recently, but you are spot on Bruce was in the background. In my opinion he showed Marco great expectations by giving him immune from the vote the other night. I CANT BELEIVE MARCO said in his own words tonight " I wont be sacking you tonight, I need you in my kitchen, but I respect your wishes". Rubbish He wanted your trust in his heart Marco too stay.....

Sometimes I don't think it's a good idea for their families to turn up as it seems to unsettle them. Especially for Bruce as his wife was a bit pathetic and needy when she came to the pass but I'm sure she never expected him to quit!

Yes all that BS that marco said was just to look good for the cameras, and it didnt take a genius to realise that naomi was going to go tonight.
She was trying to get fired tonight she made it very obvious she was fed up and I felt sorry for her that her wishes were completely overshadowed by bruce stunning them all with his decision.

I agree with you about the whole families thing.
As horrible as jody was he was unsettled on the night his girlfriend and family came in and tried to show off, it was his ultimate downfall.
And now bruce tonight, you could see from the moment his wife started saying she missed him etc, he looked very upset.
Its unfair for her knwing what he wanted to do going on the show, then putting pressure by saying how much she missed him.
I can understand her feelings but did she really need to do that tonight???
This show could have been good for bruce and he may have won.
