A complete and utter wet lettuce. Wouldn't know personality if it smacked him in the face.

He's just got nothing what so ever about him, nothing. Is there any point in him being there ?

How did he get through the auditions? It completely baffles me.

I think selections are made on the basis of character (rather than qualifications).

You mean "Nurofen" was chosen for his character?!

I thought it was very fitting and symbolic that Noorul was wearing the pants yesterday.

Noorul is pants personified.

I have been wondering why a Science teacher wants to go on the Apprentice, and why he was let on when he has all the business acumen of a fish and less personality than a plank of wood.

It may well be that Noorul is a very competent sort of person who would make an excellent businessman in a real business environment but simply cannot fit in to the entirely artificial environment of TA.

You could say that he should have realised that from the start having seen previous series but I'm sure the reality is very different from the impression you get on the screen. There's intrusion of the camera crews and production company apart from anything else.

In r/l he has control over his classes (one assumes) and can develop ideas at a sensible pace with adequate time for preparation.

I'm looking forward to him going, not because he's useless but because he's wasting his time there and it will be interesting to see on YF if he is an intelligent and insightful person who just cannot fit into the TA environment or, as the edits make him appear, a waste of space.

it isn't a real business program though, and that is shown by how the contestants lack business acumen, like in the first task the girls bought every item of car washing kit in sight. Whereas any small business owner will look at his/her costs all day every day!

also the other big difference is that Sir Alan likes noisy 'I dragged myself up from nothing' types, whereas in the real world qualifications would have more importance.

He's very scary, he looks like a psychotic serial killer.

Very odd man.

His voice is so familiar, he sounds exactly like someone on television or someone I know its really annoying me, becuase I've definately hear his voice form somewhere grrr.

He's about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

However, I'm beginning to feel he was deliberately picked for the show to be laughed at Why else would a Science teacher be selected to participate in a programme searching for Britain's brightest business brain?

That's a hell of an assumption! If I remember school days correctly he seems like the type of teacher who would have been ripped to shreds.

That's the only reason I can think as to why he is there.

In a way, he hasn't even fulfilled his early plonker status. After those intro speeches, I was expecting someone diabolical but also someone so ridiculous they would be entertaining. He is though just a void on the show. And the incompetency joke can surely only go on for so long!

I agree.

He's no Sayed or Michael.

He's just a non-speaking part who escapes the boardroom again and again only to be ridiculed on the spin-off show afterwards.

I wish someone would just put him out of his (and our) misery soon. It's becoming excrutiating to watch.

Sounds like Mark Bright - the footballer/pundit to me.

I honestly think Ingnite will not win another task as long as Noorul is still in the team. Empire surely cant ever lose to that bunch of deadbeats. I think Surallan needs to mix up the teams. Empire look like a very strong team with Yasmina, Kate, Ben and Debra while Ingite....well....Lorraine, Phillip, Noorul, Mona...I rest my case.

You know, Lohit and Ifti were wastes of space in series 3. Tuan was a waste of space in series 2. They never pushed themselves to the front, they never came up with one idea between them, they never contributed anything to any of the tasks - they just kept under the radar and for the most part were completely forgettable.

They won when they were team leaders, though they had very little to do with the actual winning of the task. It's just that the opposing team made glaring errors. And because even when they were on losing sides they weren't brought back into the boardroom, as they never said anything in argument against the team leader, they never really got noticed.

And yet Noorul, who is very similar to these three, is probably more talked about than any of the others in the current series (except maybe Philip).

Tuan won his task when he was team leader (selling in Top Shop) but not because his team were particularly good - it was because Michelle and The Badger's team were rubbish and made glaring errors.

Lohit won his task when he was team leader (selling UK products in France) - again, not because he was any good, but because Sergeant Major Paul Spazface decided that selling cheap Makro cheese to the French, and cooking sausages and beans on an upside down tin can was a good idea. Ifti never made it to team leader as he quit before he got a chance - but if he had, he'd have just let his team get on without him and they'd have probably pulled him through.

Noorul did exactly the same - contributed nothing to his team's success, but also not making a massive mistake like Paula and Yasmina did. If he'd not bought any herbs and spices and fragrances, not bought any honey, not sold one bar of soap, not sold one bottle of bubble bath, he'd have still won because the other team made a loss. Not good business sense, but zero profit is better than a loss.

It's the editing.

Plus the fact that some people are extraordinarily easily manipulated by the editing.

I find it hilarious when people state that they dislike a candidate because the never do anything when what they are really saying is that the dislike a candidate because that candidate has been edited out of what they've seen.

I can't imagine that Noorul is going to turn out to some amazingly dynamic whirlwind who has been persecuted by the producers.

More likely just someone who works steadily to do what he's asked and doesn't fit well into the wholly unreal environment that is TA.

I disagree regarding Lohit.

He was quiet but efficient.

I think people mistake being noisy for being useful/competent.

lohit was alright.

norul though is something else. i think he was picked for this show to be laughed at. he's a science teacher after all. no way he's going to win.

shame because i hate it when they pick characters for the sole purpose of being laughed at

when siralan asked noorul did he have any ideas, noorul said yes and was about to explain, but only to be interrupted.

It's obvious whatever idea's he brought to the table were edited out....similar thing happened last week...he's just there to be laughed at..

he's become a running joke of the show..

Other than Kate, Noorul is the only candidate who hasn't been in the boardroom so far, isn't he? Shocking how he's got so far. I don't think anyone has ever flown under the radar as much as he has.

I do feel kind of sorry for him though. He should be put out of his misery.

But it is possible he's being left out a lot in the edits. From watching the edit, we all thought Noorul was a crap leader last week. But no-one on his team spoke against him in the boardroom for some reason.

Maybe he's good at organising, planning, costing etc. but you don't really get shown a lot unless you are leading, selling, pitching, mouthing off about how your idea is the only good one and that the team will fail if they don't go with it, etc.

I agree, and I think Lohit deserved to get as far as he did.

I object when people use this tired old excuse for a candidates short comings. There are so many reality TV show that have been going for so many years that the audience are savvy enough to know that there are always chosen ones in any series of any show. But if a contestant is not performing then its up to him to step up and not up to the editting team to give more balanced coverage. Any contestant in any reality TV show only has themself to blame if they're the victim of a bad edit.

I dont think Noorul was interrupted; he had ample opportunity to express himself. He had no ideas. That was plain to see.
