50 inch plasma, best viewing distance??
Hi
Whats the closest and recommended distance to watch sd/hd/blu ray on a 50 inch plasma screen? I'm looking to purchase the Panasonic TX-P50V10, would 8 ft be too close for a screen this size? Thanks Baz |

You may find sitting a little closer will benefit Bluray more, somewhere between 6.25' and 7', but this will not suit SD.
8' would be a good compromise. It's remarkable how close you can sit for HD, I have an 84" screen and only sit about 9 ' away, and this is only 720. |

I'd forgot to mention that the tv will be for my bedroom and the tv will be placed on a stand that will be higher that eye level when laid on my bed watching tv. Will this make any difference to my viewing? Thanks Baz |
